Lily likes her new toys.
I returned the salmon food, replaced it with the bison, and right now she is eating almost all her dinner.
Really likes the toys.
I think you can tell this dog is gentle from the pictures. The way she gently touches and cradles the toys.
This is how she sits with Lyle. I never get both front paws!
Maybe I'll keep these to one thread. So. I'll be sitting in my office chair, and I will see this little Gremlin face peeking over the recliner at me.
She loves this toy the most.
It was in 2-for-$5 bin at Petco.
Which I think is fine for her? She grooms and cradles these toys, I don't think she needs the expensive indestructible ones.

Okay, so why didn't the Democrats just get rid of the undemocratic recall system in California?

You'd think there might have been some urgency after Schwarzenegger.
I just never understand why Democrats think things will persist in working out for them.

It's like this in Connecticut. There's no early voting. There is a voter ID requirement. Voter protections are abysmal despite Democrats always being in charge. That's inexcusable.
The expanded mail-in voting because of Covid like everyone else. But like... Our voting system has a bunch of voter suppression tactics in place, and Democrats do nothing about them.

Imagine being a cishet guy accusing all the queer people criticizing you of "moral panic." 😂😂😂
Couldn't possibly be that we've had to root the pedophiles trying to worm their way into queer spaces out since the 1970s and know more about this than you.
Not to mention, the gall of calling CSA survivors calling you out part of a "moral panic."

Fuck you.

Y'all. Please do not attempt to involve me in the pro-/anti-shipping discourse.

I said what I said.

Which is that I oppose censorship and also don't care about that stupid debate.
The lingo is silly and diminishes everything, and I talk about art like an adult and not a 15-year-old.
It has come up because Prostasia, the org which is trying to lure teens, is dipping into that discourse.

If it makes me an elitist to tell you I am above that shit because I am not a child, then fine.

This dog has stopped eating again.

I think she hates the salmon-based food I bought her.
So stubborn. Refusing food and walks.

Extremely sweet and easy dog other than this.
And this Petco closes at 6 pm on Sundays, how dare they.

So, I've been searching "MAP ally" twitter, and I've noticed something really, really troubling about the pro-pedophile discourse. It's this: "Kids can't consent" is a recurring line that excuses everything up to the point of offending.
There was even a "MAP" account which I think has been suspended called @/KidsCantConsent.

Of course they can't, but why is this disturbing to me?

Because it's a throwaway line in the pro-pedophile movement that they use to get people off their backs, and...
...because of how many times Noah Berlatsky tweeted it. I just didn't know what it was, code to signal that that's as far as he would go.

That says to me that he has been in dialogue with these people for a WHILE, since long before he "came out" about it.

Okay, is MCC liberal-evangelical? Like... Why are they trying to convert people generally?
I'm genuinely asking because I don't actually know.

Are they basically a queer-affirming evangelical church for sort-of-exvangelicals?
I'm just surprised and sort of troubled to hear that the founder is interested in converting anyone, that being an evangelical project.
