I've been able to earn a decent amount of money this summer, whilst also having flexibility with my time so I'm able to work when I want and spend time with my family when I want, all thanks to having a zero hour contract. Banning them is a monumentally stupid policy.
It also means that, if the airport testing centre is still open, I'll be able to do a bit more work there at Christmas.
Banning zero hour contracts would be terrible for students, and all other groups who rely on flexible working.
Obviously not all zero hour contracts are like this, and there are problems that need sorting, but my experience of them has been brilliant.
Before each week, I say when I can work, whether that be one shift, or five. And if I need to finish a shift earlier than usual, that's ...
fine!
It's been perfect for me, and it's perfect for my employer too because it gives them dozens more workers, who likely wouldn't do the job on a fixed-term contract.
Banning them would harm many ordinary people, and it would harm the economy.

Very nice. I really like how this complex incorporates the traditional building of the residence with the modern embassy, and incorporates lots of green space.

Bad. Just bad.
Really tacky and the blue is ugly.
