每次有關於中國的那種「低死亡率」討論的時候，都會看到 die with 和 die of 的說法。

但和很多人想的不一樣，中國名義上公布死亡個案的口徑是 die with COVID。

所以「低死亡率」實際上與 die with 或 die of 無關。
以上半年的上海為例，隨便找了一天，國家衞健委通報寫有 7 人死。

但其實上海當局有講這 7 個人「死亡的直接原因均為基礎疾病」。

而且不止上海，其他地區也這樣，如北京。
國家衞健委三周前的通報曾指，北京 11 月 23 日新增 1 宗死亡個案。

但去看北京衞健委的通報則寫明了患者是「因基礎病惡化死亡」。
