He is a Top Indian Revenue Services officer who was also involved in the probe of Rhea Chakraborty drugs conspiracy link in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput's Death.

Sameer Wankhede is a 2008 batch IRS Officer. With first posting as Customs officer on Mumbai Airport.

Over Past 2 years he and his team have managed to sieze drugs amounting to worth 17,000 crore.

While serving at Customs Department - He was headstrong in his duty and didn't give clearances to many celebrities until they disclosed what was the nature of the goods being brought in purchased with Foreign Currency.

Has booked more than 2,000 Celebrities for not paying taxes

In 2013, He had caught Mika Singh (Singer) at Mumbai Airport with Foreign Currency.

He has raided properties of many top celebs like Anurag Kashyap, Vivek Oberoi & Ram Gopal Verma to Name a few!!

In 2011, he had even kept the World Cup Cricket Trophy 🏆 made of Pure Gold on hold. It was only released due custom duty was paid at Mumbai Airport.

It was under his leadership that NCB had conducted raid on the Cordellia Cruise where all the accused were caught along with Son of Sharukh Khan for possession of drugs.

Raid went for 8 long hours, in which the Cruise company had assisted officials in whichever manner possible and didn't obstruct duty of officials are per company Statement.

Sameer Wankhede and his team had boarded the Ship as normal passengers and this was an undercover operation. Ship was headed to Goa.

As soon as the Ship reached in Middle of The Sea, the raid was initiated to ensure it was successful.

As of Now, Aryan Khan is being questioned.
