According to eyewitnesses, a police officer remained in his car at a seattle elementary school while an intruder harassed and assaulted children.
In apparent damage control, SPD is blaming the principal who left to remove the man from school grounds when the officer did not act
Seattle police make the stunning claim that because the principal would not (could not?) identify the student whose backpack was taken, they were unable to apprehend a man who had broken into an elementary school and assaulted children.
Once again teachers, a principal, and students were forced to do the job we theoretically ask of police (though we know they are not legally required to render their assistance).
We applaud the students and staff who appear to have handled this situation bravely and brilliantly.
Cliff Gephart is the same clown who put a replica of the Oval Office in his coffee shop, “Conservative Grounds,” so dad could take a photo pretending to be Trump.
We covered him last February on the show. Truly deranged man.
Union UPS driver here. We deliver Prime all day. Amazon can offer the same services without killing their workers by hiring more of them, which a union could force them to do.
Telling consumers they’ll have to wait 7x as long for union delivery just sounds like Amazon propaganda
I’m seeing a lot of well-meaning replies reiterating Robinson’s point. It might feel morally good as an individual to “accept slower service” as a consumer, but this doesn’t help workers any more than “choosing to drive less” will save the planet.
This is a problem of power. Even if consumers had the power to force Amazon’s hand in getting rid of prime shipping, why would that mean better working conditions? Anyone who’s worked for a small business knows that less service doesn’t mean better conditions, just fewer workers.
This week @murderxbryan helps us explore your Facebook cousin’s favorite band, Five Finger Death Punch, and their insane new music video for Living the Dream
Filled with beloved boomer standards like Tide Pods, Communist Mask Guidelines, and Antifa as the literal dogs of the elite, Living the Dream is another reactionary butt rock / metalcore masterpiece from the Troopsiest band in the world
Everything from Living the Dream by Five Finger Death Punch we didn’t have time for:
Possible Boogaloo Boy and Girls running with the flag. At least I think that’s what the Hawaiian print dresses are supposed to signify.
This would be the “coolest” meme in the video I think
