Looking at the intersection of words for jar/vessel/urn etc with first syllable the same as last syllable for 2 syllable words staring with ja, the urn symbol must be one of pa, su, va, ma and van.
The next seal eliminates everything except su and an, since the only valid words अन्ध and सुधा exist in the above set that satisfy this seal.

Only way to read this seal meaningfully is गतमाय = without deceit. This gives fish sign = म/मत्स्य. (Previous derivation assumed symbol va, so this is better)

The double bar letter || can be read as "va" or "in" in the first seal. राधावन्/wealthy or रदनिन् /tusked one(rhino/elephant). Due to the picture I will leave it ambiguous for now || = va or ni. I'm departing from Sue's symbol here because of so many seals work for both.
On first seal, ti, sa, Ni can fill this word starting with chama where the first syllable is from a word that means arrow or point. Reusing our previous proving of sha, only Ni is possible in both seals.

I have strengthened the hypothesis by removing assumption on Indus symbol shape. We now start with just 2 Brahmi symbols ta 𑀢 and dha 𑀥. These are identical in both systems. Both symbols are shown here together with the jar symbol
Looking up Monier Williams dictionary, there is a set of 351 words that match __dha and set of 2823 words that match __ta. There are only 53 prefixes that match both.
Of these, only one prefix अन्/an can be tripled to match this seal. The jar symbol therefore is "an". Due to its high frequency as a terminal sign, it is possibly also used as अं or अन् nominative declension.

Was puzzled by several references to आखन / spade/digger ... seemed to be going off-theme. Turns out it also means hero.
A state is a government of a bounded geography. A nation state is one where the citizens look, speak and act alike. Nation states promote the welfare of the nation. Competing interests guarantee that nation states end up in constant warfare
A nation state also finds it hard to expand its geography when its population grows. Its resources and influence, no matter how great are limited and will be found wanting in several areas. If the nation is small, then it will be easily pushed around, conquered and destroyed.
One way out of this has been the empire. A nation conquers their neighbors and expands its area, population, and access to resources. This invariably dilutes its national identity unless they can genocide the conquered nation and breed fast to replace them.

Any claim that Indus seals are accounting should explain why there is no '5 fish' in the entire corpus but plenty of other numbers. Also, whats the point in having 2 and 4 next to each other when you could just put the numeral for 6?
And what could this possibly represent! "1-2-1-12-wheel-wheel"! Are they buying wheels? How many? why write wheel twice? Just browsing the seals makes it clear that these "numerals" are not used in a numeric sense at all.
Is it a serious claim that this beautiful seal, which probably took days to carve, bake and polish just in case someone wants 7 fish? but none if they want 5 fish? Wouldnt it make sense to have separate '7' and 'fish' seals so you could press one and then the other in 600 yrs?
1. fish depicts star because meen = min = shine = star. This assumes IVC folks don't know how to draw this shape>⭐️ something that humans have done since they were cavemen and opted for 3 levels of indirection instead.
2. Indus seals represent some form of accounting, ie 3 loads of fish, 6 jars etc. Imagine creating detailed animal imagery for ONE entry in some account, baking and hardening it for hours! And oh, you want 5 fish? Sorry, there is no seal for 5 fish ever made! in 600 yrs!
