ADHD people can be blindsided when emotions change at lightning speed, without time to reflect, think or feel.

We often take actions or express emotion with NO FILTER, when this happens.

3) Highly Sensitive Persons

Emotional Intensity, Hypersensitivity,
& Responsiveness

ADHD people tend to be highly sensitive & responsive to their environments.

Inability to identify and describe emotions experienced by one's self.

Shame is a focus on self,

Guilt is a focus on behavior.

Shame is "I am bad."

Extreme emotional sensitivity to being criticized or rejected, whether real or perceived.
