A Gumroad product page is essentially a landing page.

All the same rules apply.

But most people just upload a product, write 1-2 sentences and click publish.

Don't be like most people.

Instead, learn the 10+1 building blocks of a converting Gumroad page ↓
1. Visuals

The top part of a Gumroad product page is dedicated for visuals.

This is where you grab the visitor's attention.

2 main strategies here:

a. Show what the customer is getting
b. Dazzle them with visuals

@stephsmithio does an amazing job combining both methods.
2. Results

You're not selling a product, you're selling a transformation.

How will the customer be better off after purchasing your product?

This should be your main message throughout your page.

@JustinSaaS shows what you'll learn.

@jarrylew shows how much you'll earn.
3. Contents

You might have already shown the contents visually in section 1.

But it's still a good idea to list once more in text format what the customer is getting.

Be as concrete as possible.

@ChrisHeidorn does an amazing job at this on his Gumroad page.
4. Your story

We tend to remember good stories even if we forget everything else.

Tell the story of your product.

Show your customers that you've been in their shoes.

@dvassallo's story of building a 70K+ Twitter audience from scratch is a great example.
5. Social proof

One of THE most important sections on your Gumroad page.

Prove that other people have used your product and that they loved it.

You literally can't overdo this.

@DruRly features 35+ testimonials on his Trends Pro page.

But don't worry: you can start with 1.
6. Tiered pricing

Having multiple pricing tiers helps you increase conversions.

Tiers help you tweak the customer experience to suit different needs & budgets.

Basic tactics:
• Individual products / bundles
• Monthly / quarterly / yearly
• Added features with higher tiers
7. Free samples

Providing free samples is a great way to build trust with the customer.

You're giving before asking.

It's also a chance to show how great your product actually is.

For example, @arvidkahl gives out 2 chapters of his book for free.
8. Refund policy

This works largely in the same way than free samples.

You build trust and essentially remove risk from buying.

A very typical refund policy is a 30-day, 100% full refund.

Or you could go even further and offer a happiness-guarantee, like @jingsketch does.
9. FAQ

Openly answering common questions reduces the risk even further for your customers.

Use the FAQ to:

• Explain practical issues
• Add info that doesn't fit elsewhere
• Handle misc. objections

10. Contact details

If people still have questions, give them a way to ask directly from you.

If you're clever about it, they'll also find you on Twitter or other social accounts at the same time.

By the way, just for clarification:

I do realize that some creators only use the embed feature of Gumroad.

And in those situations it might not make sense to create a long sales page like this.

This guide is more suited for those who use Gumroad as their main landing.
