I want to live in a world where Big Macs are healthy and Broccoli will kill you.

I want to live in a world where I can play the guitar and hit a curve ball not the world where my family got death threats in my sons high school bathroom written underneath a Swastika

Thread
I want to feel safe so I can go back to photographing Moose(my passion). I want my sons and some day their children to be able to take the school bus home instead of being chased by kids with baseball bats just because they are Jewish. That was my past. I want different for them.
I want to be able to sing and have the courage to do stand up so I can make people laugh. I don’t want to keep suffering from anxiety and panic attacks.
What I want more than anything else is for my boys to have it better than me.

Less stress. Less Racism and hate.

Less worrying over the climate and their future.

And certainly less broccoli.

What else should I hope for?

Nothing.

Isn’t it great that the most important job in our country can be won by significantly underperforming? We live in a very transient world. We move to other states for career or family over our lifetime. As we do this and vote our votes carry a significantly different weight. Why?
10,000 Californians moving to Tennessee doesn’t make 10,000 GOP votes. The population shifts work against the old arguments of a dyed in the wool states values. Actually the proof of this is the GOP Gerrymandering.
They need to offset the fact that the Electoral College has become obsolete and now they have to screw with elections to tilt State Elections. It is a terrible system.

My dad taught me that doing nothing is actually doing something. A choice has been made and because of it there will be a result. Tonight in the most extreme example of this the Supreme Court did nothing.

Thread
They didn’t have to. All it took was silence and our country went back decades. I’m going to keep saying this to anyone that can see my teeets.
If we don’t get out from behind our keyboards. If we don’t stop this obsession with Social Media to save us. If we don’t get in the streets in numbers ever seen before.

5 years later and here we are.

Trump installed by Russia and no one has addressed our Election Systems.

Voter Registration Systems hacked by Russia. They are still online.

Social Media Platforms weaponized. No one has done a thing.

Thread
Supreme Court Justices picked by Right Wing Dark Money. Time after time.

The Constitution was never intended to be a forever document yet we are letting many parts of it absolutely kill us.

Nepotism laws - no biggie.

Hatch act violations - JK

Emoluments - Fugget About it.
Presidential divesting of assets to avoid conflicts of interest. Hey no one is perfect.

We should have looked at the tallies immediately.

We should have taken our voter registration databases offline.

We should have declared war with Russia. We are still at war.

I have tweeted many times that it would be much easier to get Trump out of office than it would be to get anyone, anyone to make a move to fix our election system. Even after it delivered us Trump the potential end of democracy and is anyone talking about it?

Thread
Don’t confuse the movement to assure that everyone has the right to vote movement which is a fantastic thing. However the system is broken. We have no idea what goes on behind the curtain. Private companies. Foreign players. Votes counted in the dark.
Nobody ever wants to deal with it. Our candidates lose elections under great suspicion and they just walk away. This has been going on since Electronic Machines replaced paper.

How Bad Is Twitter's Anti-Semitism Problem?

Look how easy it is for anti-Semitism to spread on Twitter.

There's No accountability.

Thread

First, there are the large, verified accounts—like Larry Johnson, who often tweets (and even trolls with) anti-Semitic bile:
And, there are people like Ice Cube. Keep in mind, his account and this tweet are still on Twitter’s platform—even after being called out by media outlets.

After Wiley’s anti-Semitic tirade, Twitter only deleted a few of his tweets at first.
But, after pro-longed media attention, Twitter finally suspended him. Twitter’s excuse? “’We are sorry we did not move faster,’ Twitter said in a statement.”

They keep trolling us and we keep responding.
It’s ours to lose. We are winning. Forget them. Let them chase us.

Don’t give them what they want. Don’t help spread their crap. Ignore them. Watch what happens.
Fox
Hannity
Carlson
Gaetz
Jordan

and the rest.

Look at their posts. Loaded with our replies. Sending their trash to our followers.

Turn them off. Don’t engage. It’s all they want. To tie us up. To make us feel hopeless.
They want to tie us in knots. Don’t let them. We are the air that spreads their fire. We need to stop helping them. Winners don’t chase losers. They are losing. Keep them there.
