Bisa juga untuk orang.

Make up my mind = mengambil keputusan
Make up your mind = ambil keputusan

I haven't made up my mind where to go yet.
6. Speak your mind

Speak your mind == say what you want to say (ungkapkan pemikiranmu)

Kamu bisa bilang "don't get me wrong" saat kamu ingin memastikan untuk tidak disalah pahami.

Pronunciation is very important.

Meskipun kamu tau banyak vocab dan jago grammar, kalau pronunciation kamu gk jelas, pendengar akan sulit untuk memahami kamu.

Kalau di kamus, sering tertulis IPA (International Phonetic Alphabet).

Fungsinya adalah merepresentasikan bagaimana kata diucapkan. Karena, kadang yang tertulis belum tentu sama dengan yang diucapkan.

Phonetic symbols bisa bantu kamu saat bingung dengan cara pronunciation suatu kata.

Dulu berguna banget, karena belum ada internet secanggih sekarang, jadi mau gk mau harus lihat di kamus.

Sekarang, kalau bingung tinggal google dan langsung ada petunjuk pengucapannya.

Sebelum masuk ke passive sentences, kita harus tau nih apa sih bedanya active & passive sentences.

Active sentence fokusnya pada SUBJECT.
Ex: I eat rice every day.
(Saya "makan" nasi setiap hari.)
Fokusnya pada saya yang makan nasi tiap hari.
Sedangkan untuk passive, fokusnya kepada OBJECT.
Ex: Rice is eaten by me everyday.
nasi "dimakan" oleh saya setiap hari.
