On the anniversary of Breonna Taylor's murder, I'd like to remind you of the deadly militarized policing laws that were written/expanded by Joe Biden.

Breonna's muderers **MUST** be brought to justice and these policies must be ABOLISHED.

Please read ⤵️
These are the policies that make it legal for killer cops to continue murdering:

1. COPS Grants.
2. Byrne Grants.
3. Civil Asset Forfeiture.

FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THESE:
➡️ COPS Grants aka Community Orientated Policing is a grant program funded by the government and since 1994 over $14 BILLION has been funnelled into the program.

What is it? Grants given to police departments to fund "friendly Community oriented cops."

There's a man in my building going through a mental health crisis.

My landlord let him stay in the vacant apartment for free to help him get stable.

He just banged on my door AGRESSIVE AF saying he needed to come in and fix the ceiling. 🤷🏻‍♀️

More 👇
He then told me there were things in MY car that belonged to him. (Laptop and purse) although neither are in the car.

I called my landlord and told him. My landlord assured me that he was safe but if I felt threatened, call the police.

And i'll be honest, I'm shaking.
But I told him, as someone who suffers from mental illness, I don't believe the police are beneficial to folks dealing with a mental health crisis. (Or at all)

HE AGREED! (Low-key shocked)

He told me he would be leaving tomorrow hopefully and if I feel unsafe to call 911.
