The #MASKHOLE who’s been terrorizing our business pulled a GUN on me today because HE felt threatened.
This is what it is to have a small biz in the era of #covidiots
A thread…
After our mask sign went mini-viral we started getting phone bombed from a NO CALL ID number.
Several hundred in a day.
But it stopped.
First, a confession…
During the phone bombing I DID answer several calls with messages of my own.
I do recall answering one with “I can’t talk now I’m F@&king your MOM!”
Maybe that was my bad. But at the time it was just a phone prank.
Then it escalated…
A couple days ago this same phone-bombing-maskhole barged his way into our very small cookie store
Without a mask, of course,
But shoving a phone camera into De’s face screaming about MY dirty message about his mom.
De got the #Maskhole out of the store, took care of the customer who was STILL in the store, and left for the day.
#Maskhole saw her walking and shouted more as he recorded while driving by.
De was TERRIFIED.
Then today…
#Maskhole and a couple friends parked across from the store after hours.
They are driving a Black Chevy Pickup and are stalking my wife.
She stays in the store behind locked doors until I can get there.
I grab the baseball bat…
They drive away but only to the next red light and I can catch up with them on foot.
The driver’s window is now down and he’s recording me.
He got good video because I went Michael Keaton’s Batman kind of NUTS.
(A little more)
I made sure he and his passengers understood my displeasure at how they’ve been treating my wife and our business.
The baseball bat helped make my point.
That’s when the driver pulled a GUN and held it below window level - pointed at me.
The people who have escalated their attacks on our small biz from phone bombing to trespassing to stalking - FELT THREATENED by the business owner who was protecting his wife and property.
But it’s not the first time I’ve had a gun pulled on me so…
I didn’t back away from his Black Chevy Pickup
I pointed my bat at him and called him a P@$$Y.
He drove off when the light turned green.
These are the #Maskholes that small businesses like ours have to deal with every day.
PS- I realize this probably wasn’t the correct way to handle this situation and I DO NOT advise any other small biz owner to do the same.
