This narrative is annoying & the number of likes tell me 21k people haven’t bothered to watch the full original content, but instead blindly believe out of context screenshots. Why? Because this fits whatever victimization story they’ve made up/been told?🙄🤦‍♀️

The 1st draft of the House of ARMY script had Jin playing a cuckoo clock & deliveryman. He asked to also play a TV. Instead the skit was revised to also include banana & flower roles (no TV)
It was hilariously ridiculous and he and Jimin struggled to not laugh throughout filming+

One *could* take a screenshot of the editor caption saying “he’s embarrassed” to use out of context, to say he was “hurt” by how it was scripted. But that is hugely speculative and totally ignores all the other footage of him laughing & having fun while dressed as a silly banana+

BTS’ reaction to first seeing the final edit of the skit was filmed, and included as a special feature w 3rd Muster DVD. Jin - they ALL - laughed so hard at themselves and esp at the banana scene. They immediately commented how excited ARMY would be at it and how it was awesome +

The first is a excerpt from an onstage in front of ARMY (scripted) “interview” during Muster about behind scene stories of filming House of ARMY. The second are partial excerpts of an on set interview Jin did +

Jin (consistently, because it’s the truth!) explained he’d asked to also play a TV but the banana got added instead. Yoongi then talked abt getting a text from Jin during the shoot. Necessary context: Yoongi had the shortest filming. He arrived last to set and was first to leave+

Before this part of the “interview” BTS and the host spent nearly five minutes on stage joking about Yoongi’s lack of acting ability, how he hadn’t known his lines, ad-libbed a lot, but was funny and shamelessly joking on set, and he repeatedly insisted he never wants to act +

Jin was in so many scenes he had to be on set all day and so had one of the longest filming days. He did have to wait around a lot. Also, Jin’s roles were mostly physical roles, relying on his comedic timing and expressions. The behind shows how the others flubbed/forgot lines…+

The behind also shows the banana scene reveal was for him to be “expressionless”. But he (and Jimin) kept rly wanting to laugh, and repeatedly did so much that he cried with laughter…
So “standing still, he wanted to speak but couldn’t” reads a bit differently with more context+

Jin was happy abt how big all his roles were. But the behind clearly shows he had a v long day. The 2nd “proof” screenshot was him late at night talking abt filming extra CLOCK scenes, NOT BANANA, after most of the other members had already gone home but he had more to film +

Also, the banana pic is FROM BTS. Yoongi twted it for Jin’s birthday in 2016. It was hilarious, esp w the hashtags.

The banana was a joke amongst BTS they ALL found funny. Jin very clearly, as documented in video, laughed a lot about it. It was a joke they then shared w ARMY

Just…it’d be really nice if people didn’t spread misinformation and actually looked up context of things😔
