A house down the street from me exploded and I am currently watching firefighters try to put out the fire.
Not the best light, but you can see the roof damage.
My street is currently blocked off. Good thing I went out earlier.
I heard a couple of loud bangs, one after the other, but didn't pay much heed because I was reading. Then a few minutes later I got up and saw people walking through the front yard and everywhere, and also flashing lights, and figured this was something I should check out.
And I saw this.
Flames were visible, but I don't think they came through on any of the photos.
You can see a tiny lick of flame in the third photo.
More roof damage.
Your guess is as good as mine as to what happened. The fire may have originated in the garage. So perhaps propane tanks exploded. But why, I couldn't say. It's unclear if anyone was in the house at the time.
I drove past the house this afternoon when. Less than five hours later it was ablaze.

Biden -20 in Texas tells you all you need to know. Will Beto destroy what's left of his political career by running a doomed campaign for governor next year? I don't think he's quite as dumb as Twitter libs want him to be.
R+7 is the largest lead in a generic ballot poll for the GOP in the last five years. There have been a handful of polls to show Republicans ahead on the generic ballot in 2021, but just a handful. Most show the Dems ahead, and they lead he averages.
Junior Joy Reid: "Why won't white women vote for the party filled with people like me who will accuse them of being racist and upholding white supremacy whenever they vote for Republicans?"
One of Joy Reid's understudy's guests was Susan Del Brain Damage, who said (paraphrasing), "I'm a Republican, which is why I only vote for Democrats now." Her nose grew song long when she said she was a Republican it nearly broke my TV.
Now Mad Scientist Fat Albert is having one of his trademark meltdowns. His hair has gone from a 5-kiloton mushroom cloud to 10 kilotons.
It's Election Day in Pennsylvania, too, and I have the text messages to prove it.
It hasn’t been as prominent because there’s no statewide race to go with it, but my school district has also been roiled by the CRT wars. The incident referred to in the flier did get some national attention, but nowhere near what other places did.
But as befits Republican candidates, they didn’t forget to include a more traditional GOP message.
I surmised based on Quinnipiac's generic ballot numbers yesterday that Joe Biden's results would be "not good, I'd bet." And they aren't. Indeed, they're downright abysmal. This is easily the worst poll by any major pollster of his presidency. Downright awful across the board.
Usual caveats re: Quinnipiac, which is a terrible pollster, apply. But you throw it all into the average. And the average is not looking too hot for one Joseph Robinette Biden, Jr. at the moment.
