#ChennaiRains2021 I played albeit a small but effective role in the deluge of 2015,in Madras..I need to acknowledge 3 facts/factors,then:-

action, and their disaster management much more efficiently than the present one, whose intensions seem to be only photo ops; moving people, and putting them at safe points ,one must learn from people like Ms. Apoorva IAS, & another lady , Ms. Anu George, a prodigal young officer
Whom if I'm not mistaken is presently is one of 4 IAS officers attached to the offices of CM- TN; I don't see any of them - they understand the lacunae in the system of maintanence and work around it towards immediate relief , it's a fact that their reports got scuttled once
their usefulness was over; unfortunately this government has not awakened to the reality of the present situation; the present contractor responsible for garbage removal is burdened by the ruling party honchos who insist on employing people recommended by them,which in reality is
nothing but skimming of the top - remember the scandal of Madras corporation muster roll(how many remember it ? - I was active in SFI then and the concerned officer ,a retired bureaucrat ,we exposed the scandal - those days @IndianExpress , Madras edition had a lot of credibility

officers both retired and in service who are unable to break this vicious shackles and they're helpless. What else can do ,but pray. Unfortunately there are no strong voices except that of @annamalai_k & @BJP4TamilNadu ,but the IT cell of the ruling party ,supported ably by eggs,
converted to eats a available in tasmac outlets and some kaienthibhavans, the multiple qualified self proclaimed monarch of Madurai (I don't mean Mr MKA),& highly funded trolls like #SS ) the purpose of saving the city is lost. The same mistake is being repeated again; Cuddalore,
