It’s been 2 weeks since @cbouzy's Bot Sentinel report was released. After it came out, I reached out to @RashadRobinson, president of @ColorOfChange. We spoke about Twitter’s response to the report, platform accountability, and the “deep appreciation” he has for Harry + Meghan.
Robinson told @HuffPost that the campaign against the duchess was “not just some sort of freak occurrence.” He said the @BotSentinel report’s findings are indicative of “what we’ve been trying to tell these platforms.”
@RashadRobinson will appear on a misinformation panel with Prince Harry and @stanfordio's Renée DiResta later today to speak about misinformation at #REWIRED2021. He shed some light on working w/ H&M in my piece:

THREAD: I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing @DeionBroxton, the reporter whose hilarious run-in with a herd of bison went super viral (as in 10.7 million views viral!): huffpost.com/entry/montana-…
Broxton told me he’s been in Montana for year and 10 months exactly. It’s his first reporting gig. And being a city kid, he said he’s more used to seeing rats than wildlife.
“I’m not like an animal person. I barely like dogs,” he told me with a laugh.
He said it took him some time to adjust to Montana because he “knew nothing about nature.”
“When I first moved here, I was pretty timid,” he said. “There’s no Black people in Montana, so that added to it.
But pretty soon he was embracing the Montana lifestyle.
