I am curious: at what point would liberals consider inflation as 'Bad'?
LOL.

Yeah, I am fairly sure these are the right answers.
There is 0.00000000% chance that Democrats wouldn't be blaming Trump if he was President today.
Spending another couple trillion right now, in a high inflation/low interest rate environment is kind of...well, insane.

I mean, great that the govt can borrow for cheap, but not so great that its going to make everything more expensive.

So anyone want to explain the economic theory of injecting a few trillion dollars into an economy during a period of high inflation and low interest rates?

Asking for...well, a few friends...

This thread is all about risk stratification.

The virus will be with us FOREVER. It is very likely this becomes an endemic, if it isn't already.

The question isn't whether the virus is still here...it is whether individuals have the tools to protect themselves.
Influenza is not the same, but we can take lessons from it. It kills tens of thousands every year.

Do we completely stop portions of the economy for it? And if not, why not? In 2017-18 over 50k died of the flu. So I guess the argument is that 400k dying is too much, 50k is ok?
Here is the reality: we have vaccines, the best defense.

We have therapeutics, and will be getting more.

Our other interventions don't really work that great (masks, etc).

Good piece. But again...the CDC does NOT appear to be following the science. Anyone in the media care to ask the CDC why they aren't?

How Easily Can Vaccinated People Spread COVID? a.msn.com/01/en-us/AAQsV…
“The data are very clear that vaccinated individuals are less likely to spread the virus to others than unvaccinated individuals,” Christopher Byron Brooke, an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign."
"A recent paper Brooke co-wrote showed that vaccinated people shed less virus, stop shedding virus sooner than the unvaccinated, and shed particles that are less infectious—supporting the notion that they’re less likely to transmit disease."

Big kudos to the @nytimes for telling the truth; Democrats are lying about the cost of this bill, from Biden, Harris, Psaki, Pelosi on down. Manchin and Sinema are the rare honest ones.

In Spending Bill, Democrats Rely on Budget Gimmicks They Once Derided nytimes.com/2021/11/04/us/…
"...will be fully paid for with an estimated $2 trillion in tax increases on corporations and high earners.

But budget experts...say true cost of the legislation will be closer to $4 trillion because of the way the programs are structured and accounted for in budgetary process.
"Many of the provisions would expire, or “sunset” after only few years, even though Dems anticipate that they would eventually be extended...reduces their overall cost during 10-year budget window that Congress uses to determine whether a bill will add to the federal deficit."

I am sure this will have no effect on our supply issues or labor shortage whatsoever.

😳

Workers for larger firms must be vaccinated by Jan. 4 under Biden vaccine-or-test mandate detroitnews.com/story/news/nat… via @detroitnews
1. We have major supply line issues, for numerous reasons.
2. We also have major labor supply issues for numerous reasons.
3. Biden team: LETS MAKE IT HARDER TO INCREASE LABOR SUPPLY.
Anyone want to chime in and give me a single example where the Biden team is making it easier to increase labor supply?

Because for the life of me, I can't think of a single one.

What many on the Left will never admit?

THIS IS A FORM OF BIGOTRY.

When you exclude certain people simply because of their race and politics, you are a bigot.

And that is what is happening here. We should call prejudice out wherever and whenever we see it.

@USATODAY
If they hadn't written anything about this subject, that would be just a matter of exclusion.

But here, these authors went out of their way to exclude minorities of a certain subgroup.

THAT IS PREJUDICE.
