There is such unnecessary ruckus about #Karna being '#chariotless' and tragically being killed then when he was 'vulnerable'. This is actually quite a disservice to Karna to hold that w/o chariot he was terribly weakened but apart from that...
#Satyaki faces #Duryodhana, destroys his horses, charioteer. Duryodhana flees and comes back much later upon a new chariot.
#Bhima- #Karna battle. Bhima annihilates his chariot, Karna climbs onto Vrishsena's, as he should. Why the same Karna decides to ask for time later is food for thought and SHOULD make one think.
#Bhima is attacked by #Drona, he picks up drona's chariot and topples it. Drona is left chariotless. he quickly gets on another one and resumes battle
#Bhima also destroys Drona's chariot with a club during this battle and Drona resumes battle with yet another chariot.
Duryodhana kills YUdhamanyu's horses and charioteer rendering his chariot useless and he ditches it and gets into Uthamoujas's chariot to continue fighting.
The dury's charioteer is killed an he gets down and decides to fight Yudhamanyu and Uthamoujas on foot with a club. A brief skirmish later, Dury gets into Shalya's chariot, the brothers get into a spare chariot and move along.
After the death of Durjaya, Dury's brother who comes to help Karna, Bhima again destroys Karna's chariot and K gets a new one.
Yet again Bhima destroys it and Dury sends another brother, Durmukha to help Karna. After killing Durmukha, Bhima makes Karna (who now is in Durmukha chariot) flee. Point being, no one asked for time bcos they were chariotless, not even #Karna himself.
Finally #Karna renders #Bhima chariotless but the fight CONTINUES. Bhima doesnt beg for time and Karna does NOT stop fighting with him. Bhima doesn't have his bow or sword either and yet neither stops fighting.
Tellingly enough: "Though his (Bhima's) weapons were exhausted, Kounteya was attacked by Karna".
