Agbar served four tours in Afghanistan, jumped out of airplanes as a member of the 101st Airborne, worked on a team discovering IEDs and achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. (Photo from Military Working Dogs in Facebook) 2/?
Agbar, a Malinois, was first deployed in 2010. After four tours and numerous awards including the Valorous Unit Award and Presidential Unit Citation, he retired in February 2014. (3/4)
Now adopted by an appreciative and loving family, Agbar enjoys civilian life. I photographed him several times at the local pool, marching in parades, and he’s undoubtedly enjoying a steak at @texasroadhouse today. Happy Veterans Day, Agbar! (4/4)
