The FBI raided Project Veritas on a pretext and is now leaking their privileged communications to the New York Times

This is a scandal Image
These are classic privileged communications

PV asked for a legal opinion on potential journalistic activities, that opinion is a privileged communication

No idea what @adamgoldmanNYT was thinking here, he should be subpoenaed tomorrow and forced to reveal his criminal source
I didn’t even think about the fact that PV is currently in litigation with the New York Times

Makes it all the more appalling that the NYT would be publishing Veritas’ privileged communications
If the New York Times has these memorandums - why wouldn’t it also have PV’s privileged communications that relate directly to PV’s lawsuit against the Times?

This is just a massive, massive scandal
The New York Times delenda est

This isn’t journalism, this is straight up theft
Hey @adamgoldmanNYT maybe you should have gotten a legal opinion for the in-house lawyers at the Times before you went and published privileged legal advice from an adversarial party
Lol cc: @BadLegalTakes Image
UPDATE: Looks like @adamgoldmanNYT should have asked legal after all

The @nytimes is now facing an order to show cause, and is prohibited from further disseminating Project Veritas' classified information

This isn't "fear-mongering by the Establishment," @RepAndyBiggsAZ. It's a real threat.

Kevin McCarthy won the vote to be majority leader by an over 6-1 margin

He's the only guy with a mandate, and he's the only guy who can hold the caucus together

Give it up
Biggs, Gaetz, and the other anti-McCarthy Republicans need to get real

We're going to have a tiny majority in the House

If we stay unified, we'll be able to move the ball forward on a slew of investigations while stopping the Democrats' agenda in their tracks
But if McCarthy isn't elected speaker - moderate GOPers could easily make a deal with Democrats to get one of their own elected Speaker

In exchange for giving the Democrats veto power over subpoenas

LOL what's the smear?

Trump had dinner with a prominent antisemite, that was stupid

It doesn't mean Trump himself is antisemitic, he's not, it means that his operation is still incredibly unprofessional despite the fact that it's been running for seven years
The case for DeSantis is not based on policy differences

It's that he's much more professional and much more electable
Both of these things really matter!

They matter for winning a general election, and they matter for bringing the deep state to heel

At this point I don't think Trump has a shot of winning a general, and even if he won, the deep state would just stymie him again

Say what you will about Ron DeSantis, he doesn't just randomly have dinner with antisemites
"He didn't know who Fuentes was! It was a trap!"

No kidding, Fuentes has been playing the tar baby game for years

Trump's been running for President for more than seven years, and there's still not a professional operation in place to stop stuff like this from happening?
Also hilarious that Ye has found the least administratively-minded person in the country to run his campaign in Milo Yiannopolous

You’re not being bullied

You’ve just lost your power to bully everyone else
Twitter under the prior regime was Revenge of the Nerds

Liberal twerps accrued the power to silence those they resented

And all of a sudden…that power is gone

Trump bankrupted him and effectively rendered him dependent on him financially
Say what you want, I followed his trial in detail

Flynn was prosecuted by Donald Trump’s department of Justice

Flynn nearly went bankrupt paying his legal bills, had to sell his house

Trump could have pardoned him at any time but waited years to do so

I like Rick Scott but the first issue on his agenda is entitlement reform and I don't know why Republicans would want to touch that with a ten-foot pole, it's electoral cancer
There's a reason that in the waning days of the campaign Biden ran on "Republicans want to cut social security!"

It's their winning issue, it's been their winning issue for decades, and one of Trump's big successes was sidelining the issue completely
The only entitlement reform Republicans should run on is further expanding the benefits received by the elderly and veterans
