≈{What if…There was no system or Shen Yuan?}≈

In a world where he wasn’t bound to his role by a ruling system, would Shang Qinghua make the same decisions as before?

———————————
There was no system that told him what to do. There was no threat to his life.

And still…

Shang Hua needed structure, a plan to follow. He knew what would happen if he didn’t and he would rather avoid his former fate.
Dying wasn’t fun.
His former life wasn’t fun at all.

He died a /virgin/. Shang Hua had died as a freaking sex obsessed virgin, constantly lamenting the fact that he wasn’t brave enough to put himself out in the gay market.
And here, in this dumpster fire of a novel he had the misfortune to call his own, he may likely never get to find a man to lose his virginity to.

It was hopeless. Qinghua would live alone with his toys as his only company.

Again.
——————————

He took the entrance exam into Cang qion Mountain Sect.

Shang Hua didn’t feel good about it though. He was on An Ding.

An Ding was a mess and a half just waiting to happen.

He missed modern times now. He missed the free porn and the AC and just he easy live style.
Day in and day out he was fighting his way up the ladder in An Ding until he was finally in a position where he could do something about the atrocious organisation of the lower Disciples.

And god damn it did it feel good.

No more stumbling over objects left on the floor of the-
freaking archives!

Some freaking organisation!

Then again, now he had to help the Head Disciple by their duties.

A nice Shijie held the position for now. She was good at it, great even, she was handling it.

Qinghua could see her Burnout coming. What a fun time it’s gonna be.
It wasn’t easy being of An Ding Peak. The other Peaks had gotten the miss information of them being ‘The lesser Peak’, the weak ones, the disposable ones.

Every time there was a mission, An Ding disciples were sent, and every time, An Ding disciples lost their life’s because the
Disciples of other peaks couldn’t care less about them.

This would end.

SQH refused to have HIS Shidi’s, Shixiong‘s, Meimei‘s OR Shijie‘s come back dead because the disciples of other peaks deemed them as Canonfooder.

No more.
(TBC…)
In the dark of Night, under the clear sky and far from the eyes of the more ‘righteous’ Disciples, SQH plotted with his most trusted.
It took time and resources, but they made it happen.

Slowly but surely, over the next few years, they managed to decrease how many An Ding Disciples were sent out on missions, until at last, not even one of them left and the other Peaks didn’t notice.
/How sweet/

Brown doe eyes looked over the mission reports of the last month. Not one single An Ding disciple had been send with the other Peaks, the stats were practically the same, only without the countless An Ding disciples deaths.
Wonderful, truly wonderful.
And to think they’ve been feeding the other Peaks would notice something.

But no. Not a single one of them noticed the lack of ‘canonfooder’ in their teams.

Truly marvellous how much love the arguably most valuable Peak got.
SQH hated his Shizun’s generation to the pits of hell and back.

Before them, there had never been so many Disciple deaths, even in other Peaks. The were so vain that the disciples of Qing Jing Peak had to learn by themselves. The Peak of Literature!!!
How shameful.

SQH wasn’t really concerned with that, though, he was much too busy to concern himself with the other Peaks, He had to make sure the An Ding disciples got the training they all deserved.

No longer would they be the weakest.
——————————

The training grounds of An Ding were fuller than ever, at least once a week the were small celebrations breaking out when a fellow disciple achieved a move they had problems with or surpassed their bottleneck, the last one bringing the older disciple’s tears of joy.
It’s been years, /decades/ since An Ding had flourished like this.

They have been suppressed by the other Peaks for a long time, their own Peak Lord a weak whimp of a man that even the disciples could convince to do outrageous things.
But at least that undesirable feature of their Shizun came to good use, a disciple of good standing and with a grudge against the current Peak Lord Generation rouse to the challenge of taking over what was the An Ding Peak Lords duty.

No more Deaths, no more weekly funerals.
That all came to a stop.

Now their days were filled with laughter and the joy of success.

More An Ding Disciples than ever achieved Core formation, more of the could go onto their Pilgrimage to let their old Hallmasters ascend.
But it all had to come to a head someday, and the next Peak Lord generation had to be prepared to take over.

The question is though, who will rise to the challenge of becoming An Ding’s Peak Lord and lead them into a golden future?
————————

Shang Qinghua looked down on his neatly written notes, ears waiting for the next words out of the Hallmaster Su’s mouth to compile into understandable words for his Shidi’s.

After a moment of hearing nothing his looked up and found hundreds of eyes looking at him.
His Shixiongs and Shijies looked unwaveringly at him and even the Hallmasters looked at him with twinkling eyes.

Understanding flashed in his mind.”Wait… no-„

Chuckle’s were exchanged between his superiors.

“I’m not- C’mon, surely you don’t think I’m made for that!”
At the looks of amusement, SQH flushed and his his face behind his hands.

This couldn’t be true, SQH wasn’t that good of a candidate!

Hallmaster Su kneeled before him, gently removing his hands from where he had pressed them to his flushed face.
“Young master Shang, you have brought this Peak to glory again, there is no one better for this position.”

Brown eyes looked up and flickered behind the kind man. And there they were, all his superiors prostrating before him.

“Do you accept this responsibility?”
Swallowing the knot in his throat, SQH stood up and bowed like the dignified An Ding Disciple he was.

“This one accepts and asks his teachers for guidance one last time.”

When he stood up from his bow, the proud smiles of his Shixiongs and Shijies met him.
Shang Qinghua couldn’t help but smile back.

He’d never wanted the position as Peak Lord, but for An Ding, for his family, he would do everything.

A/B/O

Shang Qinghua was a small man with an unassuming Beta scent. He easily fell out of other’s radar and many forgot about him just minutes after interacting with him, that’s how uninteresting he looked.
There was no Martial Sibling he turned to when he noticed something wasn’t right. There was no one he trusted.
After transmigrating and living through the horrible ordeal of a system error, the screeching of the alarms and the ensuing pressure put on his head nearly killing his small baby body, SQH was alone in this world and had to adapt fast.

He had no time to remain stagnant.

His eyes open to an unfamiliar ceiling. It’s structure was all wrong, so slick and perfectly square or something.

Dread filled his body.

He came back. He really came back. There was no going back to his life beside his King.

/Dawang…/
His chest felt empty, there was nothing in there. The warmth he should always feel as a Human wasn’t there. It has escaped him.

Good riddance, SQH didn’t need it, he only needs his King.

But now Dawang wasn’t there, SQH left him on the other side…
How sad.

It was so very sad that he couldn’t even imagine a future where he wasn’t serving his King.

He had no use now. There was no reason for him to keep going. He had no friends, his family in this world had long forgotten him and his body was so different, he had trouble-
