Again there are around 100k Russian troops on Ukraine’s borders as Western intelligence agencies warn of Russia further invading as soon as this winter. They also have other intel besides the military build up that are causing them to issue warnings ft.com/content/d4eada…
And my worry is this has been planned all year and the first phase was in the spring, propaganda and migrant phase in the summer, and now this. Ukrainian military though is in so much better shape than 2014 so that is reassuring
I also worry that it’s not only Poland, Ukraine but Putin is looking to destabilize Europe/challenge NATO. Whatever he is up to he has been planned for awhile and the escalation on the Belarus border is intentionally timed because it was started in the summer and intensified now
Lukashenko started trafficking migrants in August and at that time was moving them to Lithuania’s border. But this escalation started a few weeks ago right around the energy crisis and weeks after the military buildup on Ukraine’s border which again began in early Oct
This was around when phase 2 began. Now I don’t know how far Putin will go

I don’t like to attack media but seeing @cnn reporting on the Belarus-Poland border is extremely disturbing. Yes there is a humanitarian crisis but they are not discussing how Putin and Lukashenko since the summer have been weaponizing migrants to attack Europe and now escalating
Kremlin via their proxy Lukashenko are flying dozens of planes in weekly from Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, etc and bussing the migrants to push them into Lithuania and Poland. All while profiting off this. @CNN is turning Putin’s hybrid war tactic into solely a humanitarian crisis
Putin simultaneously is setting several hot spots with Belarus border, moving large amounts of military towards Ukraine’s borders, Balkans, and blackmail of Europe via energy. Both Putin and Lukashenko need to be sanctioned to hell and tried for human rights crimes

US is very vocal today re Ukraine and movements they are seeing by Russia.
Also now Blinken has warned Russia
US is concerned that Russia may “make the serious mistake of attempting to rehash what it undertook back in 2014, when it amassed forces along the border, crossed into sovereign Ukrainian territory, and did so claiming falsely that it was provoked.” Blinken

There are videos documenting Putin- Lukashenko’s operation of trafficking migrants from Syria. Not to mention Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. They are sending these migrants to Poland and other EU borders. And holding EU hostage w energy. Does Europe understand what the Kremlin is doing?
This operation will escalate and I’m worried move to Ukraine’s borders while Russia is moving military towards the border. This was all developing over summer and nothing was done.
Now Putin is escalating several operations simultaneously while China is getting more aggressive too. It feels very coordinated and planned. The past few months I have been worried and this looks like it’s getting worse by the hour

Poland holds an emergency meet as Putin-Lukashenko increase their weaponization of migrants on Polands border. Putin via Belarus is really trying to provoke Poland while he escalates his aggressions in Ukraine. Kremlin is creating several hot spots at same time including w energy
What the Kremlin and their proxy Lukashenko are doing is extremely dangerous and can spiral out of control. EU needs to act now because this has been happening since the summer and now getting worse

Diplomat Kirill Zhalo fell out the window and died at Russian embassy in Germany. His father was a senior FSB officer in the unit responsible assassinations and poisonings of journalists/opposition. Russian embassy immediately sent his body back to Russia theins.ru/news/246211
Based on his profile he was most certainly FSB. It is not known of he died before or after the fall. This reminds me of diplomat in NYC who fell off the balcony and died from blunt trauma inside the Russian consulate on Election Day 2016. They said it was a “heart attack”
