Business Update:
β’ Dip in profit margin due to change in product mix.
β’ Company has an order book of Rs. 1,749.12 Crores as on September 30, 2021 which is executable in 12 - 30 months period.
β’ Subsidiary are performing well.
β’ Geographic share- Export:Domestic- 40:60.
β’ Received order of ASA Seeker, where co. expanded previously.
β’ Received order from DRDO for various radar.
Business Product:
β’ It is expected that around 100 radar is in need of which 75 radar is AAAU, where Astra has good market share.
β’ Anti Done System: Initiating the development system, and is coming out with competitive system for military market.
Revenue & Margins:
β’ Domestic share is expected to increase by about 65-70% in coming years.
β’ JV sales are expected to come up in FY 23 business and the margins from JV are expected to better than the export margins of Astra.
Industry & Competition:
β’ There are many players have entered in anti-drone. Astra have come out with strategy to be competitive in this space, which will help sustainability.
β’ For Ground radar, co. is also manufacturing product and has multiple contracts
New Product:
β’ Identified to explore in anti-done, Satellites, SDR, Electro-optics area, via partnership.
β’ Co. would not shy to invest in this area, and may also raise fund to expand in these segment.
β’ Co. over 2-3 years to gradually increase the value chain.
Other:
β’ For expanding new opportunity, co. will need good amount of capital to raise which will announced in future.
β’ Existing CAPEX is 30cr of which 15cr is already spent. This done via funding from investment banking.

β’ In India co. imports homo-polymer whose price has increased.
