So..#COVIDupdate...

As predicted months ago, the Fall is bringing another wave. We are in the VERY early stages of this, actually.

And the wave is the same story: hitting seasonally, especially in Northeast and Midwest; and hitting unvaccinated predominantly.
Its funny (re: biased) how the media portrays this.

Michigan, for example, now has disease rates SIMILAR TO THE SOUTH IN THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER.

Strangely, I don't hear a lot of attacks on Whitmer the way I heard on DeSantis...this is why many don't trust the media at all.
By the way, in that above chart...that first black wave in March/April?

WAS ALSO MICHIGAN.

Michigan frankly has been one of the worst states on COVID from day 1.
Again, the unvaccinated are bearing the brunt of the pandemic.

GET VAXXED FOR GOD'S SAKE PLEASE.
The Northeast and Mountain states are getting hit hard right now.

The South...is doing the best.
So what we are seeing is very high case numbers in the Northern Midwest and Northeast.

However hospitalizations and deaths are being seen more in states with lower vaccination rates.
Here is Michigan.

Anyone that attacked Florida during the summer, and isn't now attacking Michigan, is being utterly dishonest, and not really follow the science. Michigan has had three distinct terrible waves, and this FOURTH one is going to be bad as well.
Here are deaths. Again, there is a surge coming, but it is blunted by vaccinations, which is what we expect.
Other states seeing similar trends scatter the country: MN, NM, VT, CO just as examples.
I think NY vs PR is interesting. Between high vax rates, and high endemic disease exposure, NY should be among the highest antibody titer rates in the world...and the charts seem to show that. PR is highly vaccinated, but didn't have severe disease...they are still having waves.
So take home point?

1. GET VAXXED.
2. GET VAXXED.
3. The summer wave in FL, etc was neither unexpected or surprising. And it wasn't controllable. Neither is this wave.

Every couple decades or so, a political party complete deludes itself, is tone deaf, and then self immolates.

That is what the Democrats just did.

The fact they did this in the face of a threat from Trump just goes to show how stupid our political elites always are.
Trump won for a simple reason: He is politically smarter than Dems politically. Its the same reason Clinton, Bush, Obama won in the past; he is just better at politics than his opponents.
Trump should have never won in 2016, but stayed the course, and Hillary was stupid.

Trump would've won in 2020 if not for a once in a century global pandemic.

And this year, in the face of a mentally questionable President and a untrusted Vice President, easily won.

Who is responsible for the Democrats' complete face plant?

5. DEI/Woke
4. Media
3. Antisemitic Left
2. Kamala Harris
1. Joe Biden
Nobody is more to blame than Joe Biden.

He promised to be a bridge to the future.

Instead in his arrogance he thought he could be a modern FDR, a transformative figure. What a joke.
Biden's failure to step aside, and to allow the Party to choose a successor, was a historic error, a selfish moment of personal privilege that cost the country greatly.

It is his legacy.

My problem with Biden's response to the vast surge in antisemitism on his watch is that his statements have been fine, but followed up with almost zero specific action by his administration. He has done as little as Trump did after Charlottesville.
Frankly, Biden and AG Merrick Garland have acted far, FAR more aggressively against conservative groups.

See how they responded to critics of schools. They were right to do this...but we've seen nothing of the sort against anti-semites. Why?

apnews.com/article/educat…
Let's see Garland's 'memo' targeting anti-semitic groups, largely pro-Palestinian ones, and then I might believe they are treating this threat reasonably.

We've seen no such response.

Again, I rhetorically ask the question: Why?

We all know why.

Democrats are really, truly going to be stupid enough to let Donald Trump win, aren't they?

They are completely oblivious and trying to lose.

Let me count the ways:
1. Biden's age.

This is pretty obvious at this point. They are denying the reality of Biden's physical and mental decline. Voters see it.
2. Polling

Biden himself has said that the polls 'were wrong'. They aren't wrong. They are probably relatively accurate. Best case scenario, Biden is tied with a convicted, impeached opponent. Worst case, he is losing to that same clown.

The problem is that Biden is always wandering. This is not a unique moment. The media knows this, but since they are so dishonest, they have no credibility at all.

We are not having an honest discussion about Biden's health, period. washingtonpost.com/politics/2024/…
Again, which major publication has talked about this?

Certainly not @washingtonpost .

They still can't admit they 100% got it wrong. They weren't even a little bit correct. They were as wrong as calling the Earth flat. Image
"The issue was always whether the material was part of a foreign effort to influence the election — as had occurred four years before."

Um, no.

The issue was whether the media including @pbump and @washingtonpost would investigate it properly.

They didn't. They failed.
"The issue at the time of the New York Post report was in part that the material might not be authentic."

But they didn't report "Oh, it MIGHT be inauthentic."

They reported it was LITERALLY INAUTHENTIC, and then used Democrat liars to back that up.
