Something is very alarming about this flu story, and where it leads:

The reports say that the flu could kill 6x as many people as COVID.

We’ve known that for some time, of course.

So why the new reframing of the risk?

Answer: Officials want a new flu vaccine.

And who should develop it?

The reports suggest that the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases — headed by Tony Fauci — should help lead the way.

Oh, and the World Health Organization.

It would be big business.

The authors suggest having four billion to eight billion doses of a new flu vaccine ready to go “just in case.”*

*Endless boosters sold separately

In another time, sensible people would likely embrace additional study of a better flu vaccine.

But not now.

Fauci & Co have botched the COVID response beyond measure, beyond an ability to trust.

Fauci & Co have ignored natural immunity.

They’ve flip-flopped on vaccine efficacy, masks, social distancing, lockdowns, and mandates.

They’ve been indifferent to the horrific spikes in depression, suicide, drug use, obesity, and economic struggle from COVID policies.

Most of all, they haven’t & don’t give a damn about freedom or liberty.

Nations are locking down the unvaccinated, no matter a person’s risk profile or preference.

(And they don’t care that the vaccinated can still catch & spread the virus)

None of it matters to Fauci & Co.

The again, why would Fauci & Co care about freedom or liberty?

After all, the powerful already have it. And then they decide if you get any — “No vax, no job!”

There’s a simple axiom at work here, folks:

Power corrupts. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.

The bottom line from my skeptical eye is this:

The CNN flu report isn’t about public health.

Power? Money? Ego? Ideology?

Yes.

But public health? No.

To believe that, you’d need trust. And no sensible person in Real America has any left for our media or corrupt elites.
