In Abbotsford, thousands of farm animals have drowned.
These farmers and neighbours have been working together to rescue dozens of them who were left stranded by the flood.
They're using boats, hover crafts, and even jet skis to save animals lives.
The Vancouver Chiefs Under-18 hockey team was travelling when the storm hit.
They knew the roads were blocked, so they got ready to sleep overnight in their bus. When one of the player's uncles found out, he invited them to his small home for the night.
These are just some of the examples. There are hundreds more — of ordinary people doing whatever they can to help others.
Just because they don't make headlines doesn't mean they aren't happening.
We just need to look for them.
Kindness always wins.
