“I'm hoping he can get the trach put in soon, so I can get him out of there,” Erin Jones told me after the court ruling against her husband getting Ivermectin at Texas Health Huguley Hospital.
“I still have my faith. It will make Jason's testimony that much stronger.” Thread 2/
“We are not giving up and are working to get Mr. Jones transferred to a hospital that cares more about human life and patient autonomy than politics and control,” said Dr. Mary Talley Bowden @MdBreathe after the court ruling. (Thread 3/)
@MdBreathe Jones's lawyer Beth Parlato was shocked by the court’s ruling.
“This is a horrendous opinion. They basically concluded that nothing in the law allows us to overrule the hospitals treatment decisions," said @BethforCongress
She's appealing to Texas Supreme Court. (Thread 4/)
Texas Appeals Court: The law does not allow any court "to substitute our nonmedical judgment for the professional medical judgment of health care providers—whether we agree with their decisions, have serious doubts about them, or disagree with them entirely."
(thread 5/
COURT: "Under the facts of this case, the trial court had no legal authority to intervene in Huguley’s legal exercise of its discretion to grant, deny, or limit Dr. Bowden’s ICU credentials." @MdBreathe
(Thread 6/
COURT: "the fact of the matter is that we can give the Joneses our sympathies and prayers, but not an injunction, because the law simply does not permit us to do so."
WHY NOT?!

From the Jones Family Appeal Plea about Texas Health Huguley Hospital:
"Dr. Seiden admitted that the NIH upgraded their position on Ivermectin from being against its use to being neutral with regard to its use." (Thread 1/4)
"Dr. Seiden admitted that in the NIH list of drugs described as 'Characteristics of Antiviral Agents That Are Approved or Under Evaluation For Treatment of COVID' the first is Remdesivir and the second one is Ivermectin." (Thread 2/4)
Dr. Seiden "admitted that off-label use of drugs is not prohibited and using Ivermectin for COVID would be considered an off-label use."
(Thread 3/4)
Here's the email from @gofundme about why it removed the fundraiser for the Jones family last night.
Sheriff Deputy Jason Jones is dying of COVID. His wife Erin is a stay home mom of six children. Her best friend created the gofundme when Jason was put on a ventilator. 2/
Since I first made the Erin and Jason Jones names public in the court battle over Ivermectin and "right to try", the @gofundme went from $2K to $36K.
Erin Jones texted me today, “I don’t know if I will get any of the donations?”
Read this comment in the exodus online community from an Afghan:
“It's even making us frustrated, depressed that the US government leave us behind, we are those who proudly worked along with the Americans allies here in Afghanistan.”
“I was mostly at my workplace in the Embassy coz I was kinda good in English, all those Americans know and understand me, how hard I was working, but now we are abandoned behind, it's really sad and disappointing. Really sad.”

As I wrote ten days ago, Dr. Mary Talley Bowden warned her patients that Houston Methodist Hospital was “discussing denying care for unvaccinated people.”
The hospital denied the accusation and revoked Dr. Bowden’s privileges in retaliation.
Thread 1/
Secretly, Methodist Hospital changed its policy on Monday to say unvaccinated people are not welcome there. 2/
A hospital policy of “only vaccinated visitors enter the hospital or physician offices” means the unvaccinated can’t go there for medical care. But Methodist claimed it will not deny care for unvaccinated. Read my story #EmilyPosts 3/ emilypostnews.com/p/houston-meth…
“I've seen somebody say Ivermectin is ‘potentially lethal,’ and that is straight out wrong. There is no way that Ivermectin is going to kill anybody.”
-Dr. Mary Tallen Bowden @MdBreathe
(Thread 1/5)
Dr. Bowden prescribed Ivermectin to Sheriff Deputy Jason Jones. His wife filed a suit against Texas Health Huguley Hospital. The hospital has a stay to stop @MdBreathe until a ruling on the lower court’s order to allow “right to try” for Jones.
Dr. Mary Talley Bowden resigned her hospital privileges instead of allowing Houston Methodist Hospital to continue to smear her reputation over vaccine mandates and ivermectin. Read the letter:
Thread 1/
“I’m not worried about Methodist. It's not gonna hurt me in terms of patient care. I only needed it just in case I had to put a patient in the hospital. But I haven't had anybody in the hospital.”
-Dr. Mary Bowden @MdBreathe who has treated 2,000 people with COVID so far.
2/
It’s clear Dr. Bowden is being used in a publicity stunt for attention by Methodist Hospital, which was the first in the nation to mandate vaccines for its employees.
“They're branding themselves. And it’s at my expense,” said @MdBreathe
