The following thread include screen shots of the Lasaline Massare report by NLG& HAC. A link to the full report is available below. The purpose of this post is to establish that the investigators relied almost entirely on RNDDH reports.

All the citations from the report regarding the massacre are either RNDDH or UN (MINUJUSTH).

RNDDH, led by Pierre Esperance is featured prominently in the report & in the citations.

In fact, 7/28 citations are from RNDDH reports. 2/19 are from the UN occupying force MINUJUSTH. None of the citations for Margaret Prescod's piece on Lasaline are related to Cherizier 's involvement. Only RNDDH sources are used to allege that Cherizier was involved.

The RNDDH & Pierre Esperance were directly involved in coordinating with the LaTortue dictatorship to frame & jail Lavalas leaders & members like Yvon Neptune & Samba Boukman.

The RNDDH & Pierre Esperance created fraudulent reports linking Lavalas leaders & members of Famni Lavalas.
Esperance was able to do this by seeking out financial support from foreign institutions like the NED (USA/CIA) & CIDA (Canada).

Esperance went as far as manufacturing massacres in order to frame Yvon Neptune & other FL members. All on behalf of the LaTortue dictatorship & foreign governments who wanted Lavalas crushed & its leaders jailed

Concannon gave further details of NCHR-Haiti’s,Canadian-funded legal case in an article for The Jurist, saying that although NCHR-Haiti “became increasingly politicized and, in the wake of the 2004 coup d’etat, it cooperated with the IGH in persecuting Lavalas activists.

The persecution became so flagrant that NCHR-Haiti’s former parent organization, NY-based NCHR, publicly repudiated the Haitian group and asked it to change its name. [It then] changed its name to...RNDDH, but maintained its dogged pursuit of Mr. Neptune and other Lavalas members

And yet, in this the "Lasaline Massacre" report & the IJDH's 2019 report titled "Haiti at a Crossroads: An Analysis of the Drivers Behind Haiti’s Political Crisis, the sole source for the alleged murderers behind the massacre is the RNDDH.

There is no explanation offered as to how or why these institutions & their leaders have helped rehabilitate the reputation of Pierre Esperance & RNDDH. They seamlessly shifted from an apparatus of starte repression & murder of Lavalas members to "credible human rights ...

...organization. Institutions like the NLG, HAC, IJDH, BAI actively worked w/ RNDDH & Esperance & frequently cite their reports as if they hadn't lost all credibility manufacturing narratives, reports, & allegations to have Lavalas leaders & members jailed & eventually, executed

And yet other organizations, like Haiti Liberté, who call out Esperance, are denounced as liars & white supremacists (despite the fact that the vast majority of the staff are Haitian).

Another report by "Haitian human rights coalition, Harvard clinic" follows the same pattern as the NLG, HAC, & IJDH.

The Harvard investigation comes to the same conclusions NLG, HAC, & IJDH did. This is no surprise as they use the same source: the RNDDH.
In fact, they state that their reports " primarily relies on findings from the RNDDH & MINUJUSTH (UN).

Furthermore, the contract for the report is Beatrice Lindstrom, a former employee of the IJDH. In addition, celebrated human right lawyer & head of the BAI, Mario Joseph, was involved in writing the report. BAI is partnered with IJDH, & now, apparently, with thd RNDDH.

ALL the citations to back up allegations against Cherizier are from the RNDDH or a version of the UN's occupying force -MINUJUSTH/ BINUH.

The report also cites the NLG/HAC report, which creates a small circle of sourcing for allegations that are unproven & based on "reports" from a confirmed fraud & liar - Pierre Esperance.

Esperance has benefitted greatly from this assistance in rehabilitating his career from fraud, Coup supporter, anti-democratic liar who assists in political repression & extra-judicial murder.
He now sits as a " guest author" for Just Security at the NYU School of Law

His biography also notes "more than 20 years of experience in the Haitian human rights sector. In his capacity as Executive Director of RNDDH, he has also served as Secretary General for the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) ..."

The biography continues that he "has received awards for his human rights work, including from the US Embassy in Haiti."

So Esperance has received "human rights awards" from the American govt. The same government that invades & occupied Haiti, helped organize...

It remains baffling to many on the Left who advocate for Haiti & Haitian democracy how so many activists, lawyers, organizers, etc have helped Esperance rehabilitate his image.
The many toxic effects of facilitating his illegitimate "human rights organization " are unknown.

What is known is that aside from UN reports, which are illegitimate as well - the UN under MINUSTAH was the main occupying force that helped consolidate the LaTortue dictatorship, committed massacres of civilians, raped countless Haitian women, & brought Cholera to Haiti...

Esperance & the RNDDH are the sole organization who've alleged Jimmy Cherizier is the gangster/murderer behind the Lasaline massacre & others.
Some will point to Margaret Prescod's piece on Lasaline as evidence Cherizier his guilty. But a close inspection of Prescod's reporting

...shows that Cherizier is barely mentioned, even by the witnesses she interviews. Furthermore, Prescod never reveals HOW she found the victims she interviews. One Haitian who accuses Cherizier of the massacre simply wanders into an interview happening near a demonstration.

In all likelihood, Prescod relied on the same sources the other organizations did - RNDDH & UN. She was part of the NLG/HAC team, so the assumption is justified. In addition, she never supports her claims with any evidence.

This rehabilitation of Esperance & RNDDH by Haiti Solidarity Activists & advocates has had wide-ranging consequences: the MSM has parroted these allegations unchallenged. Cherizier is blamed for virtually ALL gang activity.

Recently, Esperance blamed Cherizier for the kidnappings of the 17 missionaries. A day later, the 400 Mawozo gang took responsibility. No one challenged Esperance on his assumption.
This is part of a pattern of behavior on Esperance 's part.

In an interview with Kim Ives, Cherizier claimed Esperance asked him to assassinate a rival. Cherizier refused.
Considering Esperance's pattern of behavior, this claim must be taken seriously. Esperance has used his position to facilitate the murder...

...of several Haitians. All of whom were innocent & represented a threat to his interests.
This analysis has demonstrated that EVERY report alleging (without providing evidence) that Cherizier is guilty of committing massacres are based on a single, unreliable, corrupt source.

Therefore, the reporting from Berthony Dupont, Kim Ives, & the Haiti Liberté staff must be taken seriously. Ives remains the only journalist who has spoken to Cherizier for any length of time.

It is clear from reports thst Cherizier has 100s if not 1000s of supporters in Port au Prince. In interviews, he repeatedly calls for peace, calls for Henry's resignation, denied involvement in massacres, & has hinted he supports the Montana Accords.

The Accords are supported by over 80% of Haitians, according to a recent poll.
