God is not a magician. He does good, He is miraculous, but is certainly not a magician.

When God lays a word in your heart, a blessing, a promise, your faith is activated. If you don't get to work, and as you've been directed, you may miss it.

There's the Holy Spirit to guide.
But you have to have a fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

I read the call of Abram again. Abraham was truly a father of faith.

When God told Abram to up and leave 'to a land He will show him', Abram did not know this land, but he believed and got moving.
The spirit of God led Abram to Canaan and when he got there, guess what? God appeared to him and said 'I will give this land to your descendants'.

Abram did not say, 'yaaay! ✌e go be'. He built an altar and dedicated it to God. God had promised to make Abram a great nation.
So, Abram wasn't going to be at one side of Canaan. He moved around South, built an altar, dedicated it to God and continued moving around Canaan, establishing God's presence and dominion.

Are there lessons from this? Certainly. God does not call us to a life of mediocrity.
When God calls you to up and leave, it is for you to up and walk and work with him.

I read the story of Noah and had a new understanding. Lamentations 3:22 became clearer. That it is by God's mercies that we are not consumed.

The world was sinful and God could not deal. But there was one man, Noah. He was just, perfect, NLT says he was the 'only blameless man.'
Noah's righteousness activated God's mercy when God wanted to wipe the earth he spared Noah's life. God's mercy extended to Noah's family. They were saved.

God was precise about his direction, that the male and female of each living creature be let into the ark.
God intended for creation to continue and the male and female creatures were for further procreation.

After the rain and the flood, God promised that never will creation be wiped away by rain and flood and used a rainbow to mark this promise.
