Short thread on the Prime Minister's dad - Stanley Johnson.

• Last week, Johnson Senior uploaded a pic of his visit to the @ChineseEmbinUK.

From L to R: H.E Zheng Zequang, Political Councillor Zhang Limin, OneTribe TV CEO Dale Templar, and Johnson Sr.
Note one of those who commented '👏🙌❤️' - Maxjohhsonofficial.

AKA Max Johnson, Boris's half-brother who is based in Hong Kong.

So why was Stanley Johnson in the Embassy? Because he and Max are "trekking along the Silk Road next summer" thetimes.co.uk/article/stanle…
As we all know, the Silk Road goes through Xinjiang, a North-Western region where at least five countries have on a political level declared an active genocide to be taking place.
So will this be covered? No, according to Dale Templar (@DaleTemplar) managing director of One Tribe Talent, the production company working on the project.

"This is not a political piece." Not sure how well that will hold up.
Sidenote: here was Nigel Farage's reaction to Johnson Senior's latest Embassy visit, and a pic of Max and Stanley with former Ambo last year.

Anyway - to conclude: Johnson and Johnson will be retracing Silk Road and will make no mention of gross human rights abuses in the process.

Disappointing editorial decision making throughout. Worth keeping a v close eye on which officials they meet too.
