1/1 When the Chapman's plant burned down, they kept their entire staff on payroll for a year while they re-built a new building. When the provincial government tried to close the school in Markdale, Chapman's swept in with a $2 million dollar offer to save their community school.
2/4 Chapman’s has been recognized by Anaphylaxis Canada for building a separate facility exclusively for peanut and nut free products, with a dedicated staff and separate receiving doors to keep all of their customers and staff healthy and safe.
3/4 Recognizing the need, Chapman's secured 2 medical-grade -80 freezers to store vaccines needed for Grey-Bruce County. Chapman's has given $1 million to the new Markdale Hospital and $1 million towards the construction of a new palliative care facility in Owen Sound.
4/4 One side of this issue has a longstanding history of doing what it takes to protect and help their community.
I'll give you a hint: It's not the folks thinking that their "freedom" is more important than the health/welfare of others.
"rebuilt a new building..."
sigh.
