Learning a new programming language can be difficult.
Our goal with juliaacademy.com is to make that a little easier. Here is a quick thread highlighting some of my favorite (free) #JuliaLang courses 🧵
For those with programming experience, @JaneHerriman 's course on an Intro to Julia is extremely popular. Jane is a great teacher and this course helps you build a solid #JuliaLang foundation: juliaacademy.com/p/intro-to-jul…
For those with perhaps less programming experience / comfort, Dr Henri Laurie's "Julia for Nervous Beginners" course is an excellent option: juliaacademy.com/p/julia-progra…
DataFrames.jl is a foundational package in the Julia Ecosystem and Bogumił Kamiński is a prolific contributor. He is also the author of a great course on using DataFrames: juliaacademy.com/p/introduction…
So many great options, what should you choose? Well, @mossr_jl's Decision Making Under Uncertainty course is an excellent option. Robert and I actually got to work together at NASA for some time and he is a great teacher: juliaacademy.com/p/decision-mak… CC @SISLaboratory
There really is a huge array of awesome courses available. If there's an area you think we are missing out on and you want to help make a course, please get in touch. Again, a huge thank you again to all our course authors! 🙌🎉
I would also be remiss to not mention @MITCompThinking which is an excellent option for learning #JuliaLang and lots of other important ideas!
