One day, there will need to be a documentary produced about the year 2021 in #Sooners football. Until then, here's a hell of a thread that outlines just how much ridiculousness has been crammed into one trip around the sun.

8/30/2021: In a purportedly unprecedented development, Oklahoma's four-star running back transfer from LSU decides to transfer BACK to LSU and abruptly leaves the program. (8/21)

9/4/2021: Heisman Trophy frontrunner and preseason All-American Spencer Rattler helps lead the Sooners to a nail-biting 40-35 win over a Tulane team that would go on to finish 2-10. (9/21)

9/25/2021: Fans boo Heisman Trophy frontrunner and preseason All-American Spencer Rattler and call for his backup. The Sooners win a football game 16-13, which is perhaps the year's single most outlandish occurrence. (10/21)

10/11/2021: Reporters from a student newspaper spy on practice from a third-floor window at an adjacent building, leading Riley and the Oklahoma communications office to cancel all media availability for the remainder of the week. (13/21)
