When I started Twitter I was LOST

Then I went through a mentor program and doubled my followers and now make $250 a week

Five lessons I learned

Thread//
1. Make your own decisions

Free advice is everywhere on Twitter; Good and Bad

You have to do what works for you and build a system that leads to growth and engagement

Don't fall into the traps; Build and trust the Process
2. Make your profile different

When people visit your profile there should be a reason for them to stay.

Don't be another account that looks like 1000s of others and fades into the background

You have a story and are unique; show that in your banner, bio, and PFP
3. Great Content Wins

It doesn't matter what your account looks like if you don't have quality content.

Make sure you are choosing 3-5 categories that you will be tweeting about and stick to it.

You want to establish authority and be a trusted resource.
4. Consistency Matters

Post at the same time everyday so that your audience knows when they are going to hear from you

Make sure to engage with other accounts and show up everyday.

This is a marathon that most people aren't willing to run; be different
5. Network, Network, Network

Big accounts are big for a reason. I have been bold in connecting with them and learning what worked and didn't work for them.

Some of them have been amazing mentors that have told me hard truths

Find a network and a mentor that can help you grow!

5 ways the dual income household is destroying families

THREAD
1. Divorce

Money is the #1 cause of divorce in marriage. So it may be easy to say more of it will solve this issue.

More money leads to the stress of maintaining a lifestyle that you have built.

Families need to know that they don't need 2 incomes to be happy.
2. Kids

Kids need attention from their parents, not money. This "need" for money has destroyed the idea of a parent staying at home to give kids the love and support they need in the developmental years.

Stay at home moms are the backbone of society and need to be celebrated

If you aren’t building these 5 things

You aren’t growing as a Dad

THREAD
1. Building Your Kids

Kids don’t need:

Another Electronic
Another Expensive Toy
Another Excuse To Be Ignored

Kids do need:

Another Conversation
Another Camping Night
Another Chance with Dad
2. Building Your Focus

Nothing is more valuable than your time and attention

Attention is so valuable because it creates your reality

Time is so valuable because it eventually runs out

Your kid could be a drug addict

My sister was a straight A student-athlete before she went down a road that led her to prison at 29

4 yrs later she came out clean

Here is how she got there and 5 lessons to keep your kids from the same fate

Time for a 🧵
You never think it could happen to your kid

My dad thought the same thing and quickly learned that if you don’t invest in your kid early that you are setting the up for failure

He was a father who provided but never knew how to really teach his daughters self love
This led to my sister doing everything for approval. It started with excelling in sports/school.

She received the recognition but it wasn’t enough. My dad was busy with work and they didn’t go to believe in going to church so their life centered around work, school, and sports
