Capitol attack defendant Lisa Anne Homer was arrested in Colorado Springs on Friday. The feds found a profile image of her wearing the same "LIONS NOT SHEEP” hat that she wore on Jan. 6. Case unsealed today.
Not linking to the FBI affidavit at the moment because it contains a lot of unredacted personal info, but here’s a rundown:
The Google search warrant gives them her movements inside the Capitol, and they get her flight records.
They spot her in the New York Times Jan. 6 video on the front lines of the attack:
They pull these images from Albert Ciarpelli’s cell phone:
Then, after she puts her goggles and helmet on, they match what she was wearing outside the Capitol with what she was wearing inside the Capitol.
The feds say her Instagram features "an emblem that your affiant believes is associated with the Proud Boys group” and that she posted “Let’sblowshitup” on Oct. 2020.
A key moment in determining whether Danny Rodriguez’s confession to electroshocking Mike Fanone is admissible.
Right before the FBI agent brought up HuffPost, Antifa, and BLM, his lawyers argued he "unambiguously and unequivocally invoked his right to remain silent."
In a filing last night, Danny Rodriguez’s federal public defenders argued that with "a simple ‘no,' Mr. Rodriguez specifically and clearly informed the agents he '[did not] want to' answer questions related to the alleged assault on Officer Fanone.” storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco…
But watch for yourself. Danny Rodriguez shakes his head no, but then the FBI special agent chimes in.
“I’ll tell you what, everybody else is going to talk about that,” he says.
Danny Rodriguez quickly admits he’s “very ashamed.”
Russell James Peterson's sentencing is now underway. The feds want two weeks behind bars for the mid-30s man who wore a "(F**k) Your Feelings" sweatshirt on his trip to D.C. with his mother.
Peterson’s federal public defender Danielle Jahn says that politicians like Trump “fueled the fire” on Jan. 6 and it was important to place Peterson’s actions in that context.
“What do you want me to tell you? That I
tased him? Yes. Am I a fucking piece of shit? Yes.”
Here’s Trump fanatic Danny Rodriguez confessing to electroshocking D.C. Officer Mike Fanone on Jan. 6.
(Will add key moments of the FBI interview here as the videos process.)
Danny Rodriguez was arrested by the FBI in March, one month after he was named in a HuffPost story as the rioter who electroshocked Officer Mike Fanone. Now he's trying to get his confession suppressed. huffpost.com/entry/daniel-r…
Danny Rodriguez: "Trump called us. Trump called us to D.C... he's the commander in chief and the leader of our country, and he's calling for help -- I thought he was calling for help."
BIG: Judge Amy Berman Jackson has ordered the public release of Danny Rodriguez’s FBI interview in which he confesses to electroshocking D.C. Officer Mike Fanone.
It’s a must-watch.
FBI to Danny Rodriguez: “Danny gets to choose if he writes a story today with us. But right now, the story that’s being told is by D.C. ― is by antifa, BLM, and the Huffington Post.” huffpost.com/entry/danny-ro…
