In addition to arresting Capitol rioter Ed Badalian, the feds have identified #SwedishScarf, though his name isn’t public yet.

Both are charged along with Danny Rodriguez, who electroshocked Officer Mike Fanone.

The latest on the Jan. 6 manhunt:

“Liberty or death, gentlemen!”

“Hold the line!”

“Don’t surrender! Fight for Trump!”

“Push forward, Patriots! If you are gonna die, it best be on Capitol Hill!”

huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
“at the capitol steps, it is going off, the people are breaking down the barriers, the battle has begun.” huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
"He doesn't have a Swedish accent.”

"Yeah. It's just the scarf. I think that's why they're calling him that.”
According to the feds, #SwedishScarf went to Gina Bisignano’s house when they got back to California, unplugged her Amazon Echo, and “indicated through miming” that she not speak. She’s pleaded guilty under seal and is cooperating with the feds. huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
"Congress can hang. I'll do it. Please let us get these people dear God." -- Danny Rodrigeuz in the PATRIOTS 45 group chat, per feds. huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
“Omg I did so much fucking shit rn and got away,” Danny Rodriguez wrote in the PATRIOTS 45 group chat. “Tazzzzed the fuck out of the blue.” huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
Meanwhile, here’s the DOJ press release on the arrest of Edward Badalian, aka “Trump Ed.” justice.gov/usao-dc/pr/cal…
Still waiting on #SwedishScarf’s name. huffpost.com/entry/swedish-…
Here’s where Gina slipped and called Ed Badalian “Ed” during an InfoWars segment instead of “Turbo,” as he wanted to be called.
“I survived the taking of the US Capitol and got this tshirt With picture of the capital.” huffpost.com/entry/fanone-t…
Our story identifying Danny Rodriguez back in February got at the connections between Danny, Gina, “Trump Ed,” and #SwedishScarf. huffpost.com/entry/fanone-t…
Here’s how Bisignano’s cooperation has paid off for the FBI so far:
“FBI har identifierat mannen med Skellefteåhalsduken” svt.se/nyheter/lokalt…
This is after #SwedishScarf lost his original scarf in the near the tunnel and wore the American scarf:
#SwedishScarf also showed up to the Virginia AirBnB where Danny Rodriguez and Ed Badalian were staying, as Rodriguez told the FBI. The indictment states that #SwedishScarf flew out to DC but drove back in the van with Rodriguez.

A key moment in determining whether Danny Rodriguez’s confession to electroshocking Mike Fanone is admissible.

Right before the FBI agent brought up HuffPost, Antifa, and BLM, his lawyers argued he "unambiguously and unequivocally invoked his right to remain silent."
In a filing last night, Danny Rodriguez’s federal public defenders argued that with "a simple ‘no,' Mr. Rodriguez specifically and clearly informed the agents he '[did not] want to' answer questions related to the alleged assault on Officer Fanone.” storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.usco… Image
But watch for yourself. Danny Rodriguez shakes his head no, but then the FBI special agent chimes in.

“I’ll tell you what, everybody else is going to talk about that,” he says.

Danny Rodriguez quickly admits he’s “very ashamed.”

NEW: Judge Amy Berman Jackson sentenced Capitol rioter Russell James Peterson to 30 days behind bars, doubling DOJ’s requested sentence.

“Nothing about Jan. 6 was funny,” she said, referencing Peterson’s comment that he “had fun lol” at the Capitol riot. huffpost.com/entry/capitol-…
Judge Jackson said that Peterson’s own remarks made it “extraordinarily difficult” to impose only probation.

“The ‘lol’ particularly stuck in my crawl, because as I have hope you’ve come to understand, nothing about Jan. 6 was funny,” she said.

Russell James Peterson's sentencing is now underway. The feds want two weeks behind bars for the mid-30s man who wore a "(F**k) Your Feelings" sweatshirt on his trip to D.C. with his mother.
Peterson live-streamed on Facebook, where his mom also bragged about his behavior.
Peterson’s federal public defender Danielle Jahn says that politicians like Trump “fueled the fire” on Jan. 6 and it was important to place Peterson’s actions in that context.

“You you think that's why we’re, you're here today? Just because you climbed the scaffolding?”

The moment when the FBI first starts pressing Trump enthusiast Danny Rodriguez on the fact that he electroshocked Officer Mike Fanone on Jan. 6:
"I'm so stupid. I thought I was going to be awesome. I thought I was a good guy."
“You know how many times I had to argue with people about backing the blue… and I tazed one.”

“What do you want me to tell you? That I
tased him? Yes. Am I a fucking piece of shit? Yes.”

Here’s Trump fanatic Danny Rodriguez confessing to electroshocking D.C. Officer Mike Fanone on Jan. 6.

(Will add key moments of the FBI interview here as the videos process.)
Danny Rodriguez was arrested by the FBI in March, one month after he was named in a HuffPost story as the rioter who electroshocked Officer Mike Fanone. Now he's trying to get his confession suppressed. huffpost.com/entry/daniel-r…
Danny Rodriguez: "Trump called us. Trump called us to D.C... he's the commander in chief and the leader of our country, and he's calling for help -- I thought he was calling for help."
