Sreedhanya Suresh hailed from extremely poor Kurichiya Adivasi family, who used to live in mud house with leaking roof in mountaineous Waynad district of Kerela, home to this primarily hill Adivasi community.
She joined her duty as Assistant Collector of (Calicut) Kozhikode in her home state of Kerela.

UNTOUCHABILITY IN CHRISTIANITY

Even as debate rages on inclusion of Dalit Christians & Dalit Muslims as Scheduled Castes, a big point that has emerged is whether or not Abrahamic faiths sanction untouchability like Hinduism.

Answer is quite simple: YES

In 2021, Sister ROBANCY AMAL HELEN, a Tamil Christian nun and advocate of Dalit Christian rights drafted policy paper on status of Dalit Christians in Southern Indian states of Tamil Nadu & Andhra Pradesh, where bulk of India's Dalit Christians reside.
