🔴A man has been 'pinned to the floor' after reportedly 'cycling through the security zone' in Parliament.

🔴Photos show that an area has been sectioned off after the incident this afternoon (Wednesday, December 1).

🔴Police are at the scene in Westminster.

🔴In a statement, the Met Police said: "At around 15:00hrs on Wednesday, 1 December, a man was detained and arrested at Carriage Gates inside the Palace of Westminster on suspicion of trespassing on a protected site.

"Enquiries into the circumstances continue."
