Sources : A murder connected with real estate rivalry rocks Trichy. On 29.11.2021, one Sivakumar, a realtor was murdered in the Somarasampettai PS limits of Trichy district. 1/n

According to the version of the relatives of the victim, two people,
were instrumental in the murder with whom the deceased had business rivalry. 1) Ravi Murugaiyha, a realtor with muscle power. Another a former DMK Panchayath President of Malliyampathu Panchayath, Trichy District one Kathirvelu. 2/n
Though the murder happened on 29 November, the body of the victim has not been released to the relatives, as they demand registration of murder case against both Murugaiyah and Kathirvelu. While the DMK politician Kathirvelu is backed by KN Nehru, 3/n
the other alleged accused Ravi Murugaiyah is backed by Trichy Dinamalar owner.

Sources add, that Minister KN Nehru had instructed police officials to extract confession from two hirelings 1) Deepak & 2) Prabhakaran who indulged in the murder to the effect that they 4/n
did the murders on their own and none else is involved whereas the relatives of the deceased are firm about registration of murder case against both the main accused.

Stale mate continues due to the pressure of DMK heavy weight KN Nehru. 5/n
If the issue is not quickly resolved, this could take a communal turn, as both the deceased & the alleged perpetrator belong to powerful communities.

KN Nehru has the credit of bribing and purchasing two entire police stations ahead of 6/n

Sources : Mutiny brewing inside @aiadmk. Several senior leaders are in an apprehension that EPS & OPS have joined hands together and conducting elections only to cement their seats and have ditched all other senior leaders of ADMK. 1/5

Sources : Rajiv case convict Nalini files a fresh petition in the Madras HC for her premature release on an interesting ground.

The Governor of Tamil Nadu, forwarded the recommendation of the cabinet under Article 161 of the Constitution recommending her premature 1/n
release. As per the judgment of the SC Constitution Bench in Maruram vs Union of India, advise of the state government under 161 of the Constitution binds the head of the state.

Such being the factual legal position, the Governor of Tamil Nadu sent the cabinet resolution
dated 9.9.2018 to the President of India on 25.01.2021. As per article 161 and the judgment of the SC in Maruram’s case supra, Governor ought not to have sent the resolution to President of India, as he doesn’t have powers to do so.

Sources : CBI registers fresh FIR and commences investigation against former IG Sivanandi. The CBI FIR, registered as per the orders of the High Court, registered on 30.11.2021, takes up further investigation from where the CB CID of TN left. 1/n

Vanniyar Sangam has filed the private complaint against Surya & others to prosecute them under Sections 153, 153A(1), 499, 500, 503, 504 and 505 of Indian Penal Code.

To prosecute a person under Sections 153 & 153A (1), the previous sanction of the State or 1/n Image
Central government is mandatory & the Vanniyar Sangam has not been accorded any sanction by the government.

Regarding defamation clauses 499 & 500 IPC, only the affected individual can launch defamatory proceedings. 2/n
As per the plaint, it is claimed that Vanniyar community as a whole is offended. A group cannot prosecute for defamation
