Reposting with more redaction: Lin Wood doxxed both Hunter Biden and Tucker Carlson's contact info as of 2014. Yikes.
Lost in the crazy of doxxing the son of the president and a major TV infotainer: TUCKER CARLSON ASKED HUNTER BIDEN TO WRITE HIS SON A COLLEGE RECOMMENDATION LETTER.
Buckley Carlson didn't end up going to Georgetown, BTW.
Why does Lin Wood even have an email exchange between Tucker Carlson and Hunter Biden??
I bet Hunter wrote a great letter, too. Because Hunter Biden seems like a genuinely decent guy who has dealt with a lot of crap in his life.
People have been asking me if this is real, and I have no reason to suspect it's not. Say what you want about Lin Wood's rampage, but he hasn't posted anything fake that I know of so far.
Lin Wood's Telegram feed better get Time's Person of the Year, that's all I'm saying.
All I can say is that a whole lot of people stepping to Lin Wood have violated the Billy Joel Rule:
You should never argue with a crazy mind mind mind mind.
Doing a little digging to see if this holds up to established facts - the timing for Buckley Carlson applying for colleges fits, since he was born in 1997. And Tuck was just a weekend Fox and Friends guy in 2014, not the infotainment conspiracy machine he is now.
THE PLOT! SHE THICKENS!
The Tucker/Hunter Biden email was first put on Telegram not by Lin Wood, but a few hours earlier by his buddy David Clements, who is on Telegram as "The Professor's Record" and is another stolen election crank.
Clements was forwarding the email, in turn, from an account known as "G" that's hidden on Telegram. Garret Ziegler, maybe?
So did this come from "The Laptop From Hell??" Not really so hellish as it is "nice guy doing a favor."
It looks from what I've been seeing like "G" might have gotten it from Tore, aka Terpischore Maras Lindeman, yet another stolen election crank who claims she's a time traveler and was a witness in Sidney Powell's "Kraken" suit.
I'm tired.
Anyway, this is a diversion from what we really need to be talking about:
Tucker Carlson, who has spent over a year trying to destroy Hunter Biden on his Fox News show, once asked him for a recommendation letter for his son. And Lin Wood put it on blast.
Also, definitely buy my book about QAnon and why everything is so bizarre right now:
Want to clarify one quick thing: Lin Wood has 100% posted conspiracy theories and hoaxes about the 2020 election. But all the calls and documents he's posted during his recent rampage against Tuck, Flynn, Byrne, etc, have held up to scrutiny.
Some thoughts on why I ran with unconfirmed emails as a story:
Re: Tucker Carlson/Hunter Biden. Why, as a journalist who exposes frauds, did I write about emails that haven't been confirmed as real?
Because when you report on fringe characters, you might not get the confirmation you want. So you trust your experience and your instinct.
Everything in these emails fits with what we know about the friendship between Tucker and Hunter. The timing matches. The chain of custody is a mess, but again, these are fringe characters. Their doings are never clean, so you go with what you have.
The email addresses are confirmed as belonging to both parties. And the source of the leak, Lin Wood, is a crank, yes. But that doesn't mean he's lying about this, or intentionally spreading a fake document. To do so would he inviting a massive lawsuit from Tucker.
I don't plan to talk about Jim Stewartson after this, but I truly hope the people clamoring for his return and praising him as a fearless truth-teller have read at least a little about his abuse and conspiracy theories toward journalists who criticized him. It's not okay.
He worked with a number of independent journalists, and I haven't seen any acknowledge the abusive and paranoid lies he told about those who ran afoul of him or questioned his methods. I hope at some point they think hard about when and how he'll turn on them.
I'm not tagging anyone here because I don't want to get into endless circular arguments that won't solve anything. Finding out the truth about someone you admire is difficult, and everyone needs to process it at their own pace.
The infighting among Q grifters in the last few weeks has been spectacular, but Lin Wood has really crossed over from "settling all family business" to "desperately in need of an intervention."
It's very complicated and not really important to understand in depth. But it ultimately comes back to money - Wood trying to get back the money he raised for Kyle Rittenhouse, who is a real patriot and who is a scammer, etc.
Also, Mike Flynn posted a picture of a dove pooping fireballs, and people thought that meant he was a Satanist. So he got mad, and Lin Wood and others got mad at him. Maybe these folks should spend more time with their families and less time being mad online.
I'm listening to the #negative48 livestream on telegram. They're standing on the triple overpass running through Dealey Plaza, yelling USA at passing cars and listening to patriotic rap about "war with demons." Lots of screaming and cheers. But you can't scream and cheer all day.
Now they're chanting "if you don't know, you're a comatose vertical meatsack." There's an in group and and out group, and if you're out, you're out.
People passing by are flipping the N48 crew the bird, and the N48 crew responds by screaming insults and calling them child traffickers and evil. Really not good at all.
The far right pushed the exact same hysteria about Obama "canceling elections." They thought he was going to cancel 2012 because of Hurricane Sandy. This is not new or novel.
Flynn, of course, is a lunatic running a cult of grfit with him at the center. But this is not a wheel he invented.
These tropes get recycled over and over because they work. They stir up outrage, and outrage means attention, and attention means money. Flynn plays this game like a master.
There have been some great stories about Michael Brian Protzman and his Negative48 cult looking for JFK. Jr. But I haven't seen anyone talk about what the name "Negative48" actually means. I believe it's a direct lift from QAnon, and proves Protzman is angling to be the new Q.
Q drops constantly use random gibberish to convey what are supposed to be military codes or secret messages. Many are just random left/right banging on a keyboard - SJAH_X-830198374 or B19-2. But one that shows up five times in March 2019 and never again is [-48].
What does it mean? The number is specific enough that it might mean "T-minus 48 hours." Or it might mean nothing at all. It was only used on March 4/5, and nothing in particular happened two days later. But Protzman knows that Q fans will know that phrase means...something.
