Amazing. Former DOJ attorney Jeffrey Clark to plead the Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination. It's truly pathetic that DOJ sank so low that DOJ attorneys fear criminal prosecution.

Bottom line: Jeffrey Clark will plead the Fifth. He was dealing with another DOJ lawyer (presumably @JohnRLottJr, also known for empirical studies on guns saying what the NRA wants to hear). Lott was working on a memo on "election fraud." All of these guys should get subpoenaed.

Bottom line: They were doing "empirical work" at DOJ trying to demonstrate "election fraud." A lot of these empirical studies are no better than Enron financial statements. Even published work often is subject to "peer review" no more rigorous than an audit from Arthur Anderson.

This bio says @JohnRLottJr was hired at DOJ in October 2020 and resigned in January 2021. His expertise is statistics (regression analysis, etc.). It appears DOJ was getting ready to make a case on "election fraud"-- Did DOJ plan all this in advance?
