1/ While NFTs have existed for a long time, the market historically has been very small.
Early marketplaces like @opensea and @SuperRare grinded through a market that was mostly dominated by @ethereum until new blockchains began appearing.
2/ 2021 will go down perhaps most significantly as the year of the digital renaissance.
As new business models and monetization strategies were born, platforms like @niftygateway and @SuperRare dominated, offering artists a new format for monetizing their work.
3/ The NFT market has officially surpassed $15B in secondary sales combined across a variety of categories including gaming, PFPs (profile pics), virtual worlds, sports, and collectibles.
More importantly, while @ethereum leads, the future is growing more multichain by the day.
1/ @NotionalFinance is an @ethereum-based protocol which enables users to lend and borrow cryptoassets at a fixed rate via on-chain liquidity pools.
Notional recently launched its V2, and as a result protocol activity has exploded over the past week as it nears $1B in total TVL.
2/ Users can interact with the protocol as a borrower, lender, or liquidity provider (LP).

In turn, they are rewarded with liquidity fees.
3/ The $NOTE token is used for operations within the protocol.
The total 100M token supply was allocated:
+ 50% to liquidity incentives
+ 23.6% to the team w/ 3-year vesting schedule
+ 19.78% to early investors w/ 3-year vesting
+ 6.62% to development grants & community building
