First, let us introduce ourselves. The founding team came from Novi Research, where we led R&D efforts for the Diem network, e.g., Move smart contract platform, consensus, and many cryptography efforts.

What you may not know, we have done extensive work beyond what you see in DiemCore. New protocols and new system designs will change the blockchain paradigm. We are launching Mysten Labs to bring these technologies to the broader web3 ecosystem.

You may have heard about our efforts to massively speed up the consensus of our partner networks - Sommelier, Cell. We are also working hard to enable Move on other blockchains beyond Diem.

But that’s not all. Soon, we will demonstrate the capabilities of our own platform - an extremely high throughput NFT blockchain that will enable new kinds of NFTs and increase the scope of NFT based products far beyond what is possible today.

The new blockchain is built with a unique design the current ecosystem has not seen.Apart from the massive scalability, it has a new programming model that’s perfectly suited for NFTs. It enables dynamic NFTs which are composable and can change over time - leveling up, new powers

We believe the combination of features and capabilities to usher a new wave of innovation in web3. A blockchain that can do hundreds of thousands tps, 200ms finality, with easy-to-use and scalable storage capabilities, will change how games use NFTs.
