🎙️ It's press conference day ahead of Thursday's @EuropaLeague match against Lyon. #UEL

Giovanni van Bronckhorst has arrived to speak to the media, live updates to follow.

🎙️ GvB: No matter what we will stay second in the group, but this is still a good game against an excellent side.

Every game we want to reach our level and the experience will be good for our development.

🎙️ GvB: Peter Bosz was the captain when I was in the Academy at Feyenoord, he was really helpful to me. He was also Technical Director on my return.

He is a friend I have had throughout my career.

🎙️ GvB: We had to do a lot in our team meetings and our limited time on the training pitch.

The players have shown great development and we keep pushing them to win games no matter what, that is the mentality we have to have as a club.

🎙️ GvB: We have to wait until after this training before I have my final squad.

We will watch closely the physical state during training, we can change players and I am more than comfortable giving players minutes tomorrow evening.

🎙️ GvB: My first experience with the Rangers fans was back in 1998 with the huge away support.

It is very important for us to have our fans behind us, it's not been easy for our fans this week but I hugely respect their presence in the stadium.

🎙️ GvB: We are playing a very experienced side with quality players. I am confident my team will play well against a tough opponent.

I will prepare and may make some tactical changes ahead of the match, these are the challenges you enjoy in football.

🎙️ GvB: For the players coming in, it is always great to get minutes. They have given everything in training and I'm very pleased to be able to reward them with minutes tomorrow.

🎙️ GvB: Both teams want to win, it will be the same for Peter Bosz. I expect changes for both teams but regardless we will face a strong Lyon side with a lot of quality.
