@OlgaNYC1211 The North Korean regime is extremely totalitarian and the population is brain washed. North Korea can only get attention through military recklessness. Russia is rapidly adopting this model. Just imagine Putin in power for another decade - what will Russia be like then?
@OlgaNYC1211 What is to be done with the Russian population? How to protect a potential for a normal Russia in the future? The way I see it we have to open the borders for Russians who want to emigrate to Europe. Russian democrats can shelter in Europe until there's a chance for a new Russia.
But what about the Russian state and regime? Total containment is my answer. Kremlin will not stop creating problems for us so the best answer is to stop it at the gate, making it harder for it to act, to get access to the West, make it poorer.
