Many make the well meaning mistake that they have to cram their head full of spiritual books, knowledge, lectures and so on to awaken their spiritual self. This really is not true. The best way to connect to your higher self is through your own creative passions.

2. Even if your passions may not seem spiritual, at first, they will eventually reveal their spiritual purpose as you continue to live and study them. And by passions I don't mean your favorite food. I mean, what is it that inspires you to create and discover your own gifts?

3. When you discover your own gifts and apply them into your own work you naturally connect into your higher self. The longer and more focused you can do this, the wider your own spiritual portal opens and the more information can flow down from your higher self.

4. This is why someone with no apparent spiritual background in the middle of the woods could discover some cosmic truth simply through carving wood figurines or something like that. It's all about engagement and in-spirit-ation.

5. Though we have collectively lost this inspiration, as we have completely externalized spirituality into dogmas, scholastics and so on. There is nothing wrong with materializing spiritual concepts, and is honestly important for maintaining knowledge.

6. That said, we to often loose the living factor to the materialized knowledge and thus it dries up and looses it's spiritual spark. People become wonderful bookworms but never morph into butterflies, forever crawling lost between the pages.

7. Getting lost in the pages of spirituality is actually no different that the sheep getting lost in their blue pill dreams. To be brutally honest, the spiritual world can sometimes be more asleep than the sleepers when it uses spirituality as an escape.

8. A sheep deep within the matrix that lives from their heart and consciously applies their creative energy is more likely to wake up and stay awake in the long run than one who believes salvation is found in a magical spiritual book or pre-paved spiritual path.

9. I can relate to this myself, in that I spent my life deep in the gaming matrix and yet I essentially slingshotted around it's dense gravity. True, many get lost in that world. Though those who turn it into a passion and not a mere hobby often become very spiritually literate.

10. I played countless games that were underpinned with spiritual and esoteric concepts that were like diving boards into countless worlds of history, science, myth and so on. They were every bit as engaging as any great novel.

11. However, just like a novel, had I not also applied my own unique creativity in dreaming up my own game worlds or paracosms than all that inspiration would have been lost. It's no different than a novelist tapping into their higher self and even channeling different timelines.

12. IMO this is even why we often see movies, games and novels predict the future or line up with some esoteric cosmic truth. Sure, sometimes it's agenda based or predictive programing. But it can also be simple channeling in your more innocent of cases.

13. When we create art of any kind we are automatically tapping into the astral and spiritual worlds of imagination, memory and even cosmic archetypes that we than channel through our work, even if we don't purposefully try to channel.

14. This is how we can gleam spiritual knowledge with no spiritual books or teachers at all. Though the best approach is to combine your own living passion with your spiritual/esoteric studies. Just don't over focus on thinking that you have to consume a whole libraries worth.

15. In fact, your passion will only guide you synchronistically to the spiritual works you need as you need them, so long as you stay in your heart and not your head. Your heart will magnetize to you what is relevant for you, often through the language of your passion.

16. I have had my socks knocked off over some of the syncs I have gotten through games and the way they relate to my own spiritual and life journey. Your passions messages become tailored made just for you, because it's your own unique spiritual channel.

17. Your passions should not only spiritually inspire you but also confirm your own spiritual connection and gifts. A book or a teaching alone is just not going to cut it, because it does not come directly from you. It can help unlock keys yes, but you have to have your own keys.

18. And those keys are already inside you, but you have to close the books from time to time to find them. Let yourself FEEL for those keys simply by living and applying your passions, even if it's just for yourself. You don't even have to share your work, just make it!

19. Though no doubt, the more you share your work the more light houses of your own spirit you put into the darkness of the world, that light than able to help others and even reflect back to you. Plus, your spiritual gifts will only grow as you bring them out of the shadows.

20. Don't worry about perfection either. It took me a while to be confident in my own work, but I eventually found my own flow and now I am able to truly mix and spiritually embody all my passions and studies into an ever growing living library. So start your own living study!
