the other side of this coin is the removal of friction in joining these growing networks (betting on apple, bitcoin, facebook et al)

I am pretty weak at developing and maintaining personal relationships at scale
I am slightly better at writing and designing stuff and lobbing it onto the internet and seeing what happens
identifying what you're better than average at (or you can stick at for longer than anyone else) is the hardest thing to do but the best shot you have at network building
