Here is a list of different shul types. Let me know which of these guys are in your shul and if you have others. List is not in any order. Apologies if this was done before. I'm sure it was in some form at some point.

Talker - This guy can't help talking in shul. This same guy, might be quiet in other settings. If you see him with his wife, he's a completely different guy. #ShulTypes

Shisher - Shisher gets annoyed with any talking. He has a radar for it. He might sacrifice his own davening for this. It was suggested that in some cases shisher becomes "Talker" if the right person comes along. #ShulTypes

Macher - During the week, this guy has more than one phone and years earlier had a beeper as well. He might also be part of Hatzolah, Chaverim or Shomrim. #ShulTypes

Gemara Guy - He takes out an Artscroll Gemora and puts it by his seat. In most cases he might not use it at all. Especially if he is near "Talker". #ShulTypes

Judaica Book Guy - This guy takes out an English book in shul and he is in his own world most of davening. He has to be called for an aliyah more than once. #ShulTypes

Drinker - Sadly we all know this guy. When he sponsors kiddush, more money is spent on booze than on food. Sometimes he might come to shul 'preloaded' #ShulTypes

Late Guy - Late guy habitually comes in with 5 to 10 minutes left. Instead of being embarrassed, he walks through shul to say good shabbos to everyone. He might also bring in a coffee with him. #ShulTypes

Hagbah Guy - He's the go to hagbah guy. Not exclusive, but often enough that you recognize him. He's usually not a young guy or tall guy either. #ShulTypes

Chazzan - Loves the amud. If you listen closely, a low groan could be heard when he goes up to daven. Keeps track of way too many yahrzeits. Natural enemy of "Fifo Guy" #ShulTypes

Gvir - He looks around in shul and mutters loud enough for someone to hear, things like "We need to fix that". He has money, but there is likely 1 or 2 people who have more and keep quiet. #ShulTypes

Knows Everything Guy - This guy knows more than most newspapers. He also knows everyone that ever lived. Fun guy at shalashudos. Usually he is also a very nice guy. #ShulTypes

Halacha Guy - He's the guy that knows when to say tachnun, vayehi noam & a bunch of other things. Sometimes he is at odds with the rov on this. #ShulTypes

Zman Krias Shema Guy - He calls out when zman krias shema is, if it is close. He might be same as "Halacha Guy" #ShulTypes

Askan - He is a very important person according to him. He hints at big things that he is involved in. #ShulTypes

Fifo Guy - 'First in First out' is an accounting term. He is one of the first ten at shul, but will get annoyed if davening shleps too long & will leave. Not a big fan of "Chazzan" #ShulTypes

Kiddush Guy - He lives for kiddush. He has a radar for it. He will never miss a week or leave early when there is a kiddush. #ShulTypes

Sleeper - Falls asleep every week, especially during Rov's drasha and chazoras hashatz. #ShulTypes

Business Guy - He's the guy that made "Nisht Shabbos Geret" a thing. He might be same guy as "Talker". He can be interesting at shalashudos in short doses. #ShulTypes

Vort Guy - He will tell you a 'quick' vort if you make long enough eye contact with him. #ShulTypes

Corrects Leining Guy - He will find at least one thing to correct each week. Even if he is in error. He might also be "Halacha Guy", but more likely "Askan Guy" #ShulTypes

Logistics Guy - Different from "Know Everything Guy". He knows where to go for almost anything and how to fix anything. Integral part of an interesting shalashudos. #ShulTypes

Cholim Guy - By the misheberachs, he has the most. Sometimes you wonder if some of them are made up. "Fifo Guy" not pleased with him either. #ShulTypes

Topper - Any story or idea you have is met with "That's nothing...". He is often also "Opinion Guy" #ShulTypes

Davening Out Loud Guy - Might be same as "Zman Krias Shema Guy"

Joke Guy - He is the one that comes to shul with all of what he thinks are the best jokes. He is also the one with a Whatsapp broadcast joke group for memes. He is also the reason that the shul whatsapp group is limited to just shul business. #ShulTypes

Candyman - He brings the nosh for the kids and maybe for the adults. In some shuls he might have a backup shtender. He gets annoyed when the shul tries selling Candyman on Simchas Torah.

Opinion Guy - He dismisses or minimizes any other opinions, even when they agree with him. Not fun at shalshudos. #ShulTypes
