A Thread on #Peshawar #Mayor #Election #2021 @PTIofficial @PTIKPOfficial @PTIKPKNews not learning from past. Every city, locality has different politics & when it comes to local bodies, situation becomes more thin.
NA1 was the seat, people of Peshawar elected Imran Khan, however

upon leaving the ticket was awarded to some Bacha Gul, an unknown person, as per my belief not even from the country. Result, Mr. Ghulam Bilour winning the same. @ImranKhanPTI totally ignored the local workers and nominated an outsiders, obviously on the ill advice of

his close group. Just because Mr. Bacha Gul spread some money around.
Lesson, dont bring imported candidates to elections.
However, it was not learned, soon forgotten and for the Mayor of Peshawar, Mr. Rizwan ullah Khan Bangash was selected, under which criteria?

Under whose idea? No one knows. Clearly, Mr. Rizwan was up against Mr. Zubair Ali and Mr. Zarak Arbab, both from Peshawar, born and raised and with very strong political history and families.
The campaign of Mr. Zubair Ali, as I witnessed was some next level, even in the polling

both I witnessed his majority compared to any other. From day one both the candidates left no stone un-turn in their gatherings, on the other hand Mr. Rizwan ullah Bangash even did not bother to place an add in any newspaper. Too much confidence or too much stupidity,

it very evident now.
I must add, though as a person, as a minister, @kamrankbangash is a gem of a person, but he clearly showed lack of experience and counted too much on BAT and name of Imran Khan for winning the election. Well its 2021, high inflation,

no performance highlighted to public and lack of election campaign let to the loss at Peshawar. It will always remain a huge loss. Same was the result seen where again local family members were imported by sitting ministers, thinking they will sweep on the name of Imran Khan

again, however, this is not the ball game forever.
Readers, rest assure, Zubair Ali and Zarak Arbab, both got votes, firstly due to their names, secondly on party basis. Mr. Rizwan Ullah Bangash, lacked on his own personality, which is not known to the people of Peshawar,

as to who he is, where he is from.
In addition, even on the ballot paper just Rizwan Ullah was written, where the little campaign was highlighted on the name Bangash.

Same was the downfall for ANP
Mr. Sher Zaman.... who where what..... all unknown.... whereas ANP has many people from Peshawar city much more suitable for the election.
Even for #PTI Syed Qasim Ali Shah or others were much more better candidates.
