Snowdrop is just being hated for a wrong reason. gathamchun is the reason of that petition. he twist, exaggerate, & spread fake news on his twitter posts but non viewers belive it coz it looks legit. but if you compare his posts to what was shown in the 2 episodes, you will >>
know that he is just brainwashing people to ignite anger. there is no glorification in there. that is why people SHOULD WATCHED IT themselves and not just believed on BIASED posts. Here's an unbiased thread on what's actually shown in the 2 episodes of snowdrop: >>
1.) NSA People - based in the 2 episodes, Gang-Mu is a hot headed guy and is obsess in capturing the north korean spy named taedong river 1. his character didn't touch the domestic events like protests etc., he is after the nk who infiltrate seoul & when they had the chance >>
they chase and went beserk & threaten the director in the hosu dormitory without warrant just to catch the nk. it showed that they can be out of control. so how does his character distort history? when it even showed his bad side? HAN-NA, the NSA girl is also of no >>
different, a hard headed & impatient girl who attempt to slap the hosu director because he refuse to cooperate with them because they didn't have search warrant yet. and when they have it, she even barge in to the sauna room where the girls are naked bringing her pistol >>
that would ignite fear to the college girls. it again showed their bad side. so how does this glorify the NSA & distort the history? The NSA higher-ups and the political party, it showed in the 2 episodes that the NSA higher ups is teaming up >>
with that political party and will do anything to help them win the election. it showed they are manipulative and even talking to frame up opposition in a pretext that the opposition is asking help from the north. it also showed that they are the ones bribing the north >>
to do something for them in order to win the election. so how does this glorify and distort history? when it clearly show and demostrate how fucked-up NSA higher ups & political party was at that time if you want it to relate to history. >>
2.) The Female Lead - On the 2 episodes, it showed that she is a normal university student, kind, and naive. She states that she has a brother who participated in the protests and was caught and was forced to go the military academy that is why she discourage people >>
to participate in the protests because it will hurt them. It clearly shows that she is NOT an activist-student so she cannot be tagged to that historical figure they are afraid to be distorted about. she help the male lead bcoz she thought he is a student-activist, that >>
although she discourage student in participating protests, she doesn't want them be caught by the police. so how does her character distort history? it showed that students can leaned on to each other, activist or not. 3.) The Male Lead - base on the 2 episodes, he is >>
a north korean officer who has a mission in the south. It is not clear yet why they need to get that professor. in the 2 episodes, nothing much happen to his character yet, just attending group date, meeting the female lead, being chased by NSA, barging in the hosu >>
dormitory, being hid in the attic & receives medical help. about his family, he revealed that she has a sister who gave her a necklace and that his sister has a child, nothing yet about his parents. but it is clear that his character is in no way related to the protesters so >>
they cannot relate/tagged his character to them. he did not attend a protest rally and pretend to be one of them, not a bit. he is a north korean officer on a mission and being chased by that NSA, so how come his character will distort/glorify history? >>
4.) THE DORMITORY - in the 2 episodes, absolutely nothing will distort history in there, it tackles the lives of students living in the dormitory at that time. it gives a miss minchin vibes. that miss minchin actually protected the students from the NSA who barge in. >>
5.) THE CHASING OF THE MALE LEAD - base in episode 1, the chasing happen in NOVEMBER 1987 NOT in May 1987 so it is not on the same timeline of that historical event. although during the chasing, they pass by a protest rally, it is not the same rally where many had >>
died, the rally was related to the upcoming election. also it was just shown in just less than a minute, it is needed to be shown to justify why room 207 girls agreed to hid the male lead. so aside that no one from the leads is student-activist, it is NOT also in >>
the same timeline. so how does this distort history?
6.) WHY THE 207 GIRLS HID THE MALE LEAD - 3 of the girls already met sohoo via a group date months prior so they somewhat know him & the remaining girl, is a student-activist who happen to participate on that protest rally >>
as they thought he is a student, they don't want him to be get caught and be falsely accused as communist. the student-activist said that the police always framed protesters and accused them being communist/nk spy all the time. so in this part of the series, they clearly >>
did not glorify/beautify the police, instead it exposed the wrong doings of the authority of that time of korean history. OVER-ALL, that's what snowdrop episode 1 & 2 is all about. so tell me where in the part of the series that will distort history? I encourage people >>
to WATCHED it themselves and not rely on the BIASED & TWISTED posts of that twitter account gothamchun. After watching compare my tweets versus that account's tweet, you will then know that he is just doing propaganda and brainwash people to hate snowdrop, i don't know what >>
is his intention in doing all of these, maybe he hates somebody who is part of the series, or he has other reasons, whatever that be, it is unfair for snowdrop to accused of distorting history when it actually NOT. To the people who reads this, please share this to spread >>
awareness and to listen to the other side, the unbiased one. I am not asking everyone to believe my posts, what I am asking is to WATCH IT YOURSELVES before concluding/judging. then compare which posts is telling the truth.

Wow! I just read the email notice now. Somebody is trying to hacked my account. Tried 5 times but I have it secured so sorry whoever you are. Threatened eh?
As of 10pm PH time, ARMYs are not yet done in giving opinions. Why is it that you are so bothered about the Snowdrop issue? This is not your business, no one from BTS is part of the series yet they are here. 🤔 This thread was made to summarized episodes 1 & 2 accurately bcoz >>
the other one who made a summary first did not do it objectively. You not need to be korean & know history inorder to distinguish if something is wrong with the posts versus what was shown, you just have to watched it. How to distinguish things is a universal knowledge and is >>
not limited to race. So NO i did not act as if I am korean, i just pointed out that there's something wrong with that posts vs with what was shown. You can confirmed it after watching. K-POP stans which consists of 99.5% of the reactors of this thread keep on >>
saying the same thing like a script, so obvious that they didn't watched the drama & just react blindly without even checking if the one they read were true. Some says they do not need to watched it, koreans are already angry & there's already a petition, that's enough to >>
comment. so if that's the case, you are only joining the bandwagon and not really sincerely concerned with the issue. I read statements from REAL koreans, they share common perspective on the male lead, they said that he is a spy who pretend as an activist >>
that joined protest rally, & they also said about democratization movement. Based on the 2 perspectives, then they are misinformed because based on episodes 1 & 2, none of the two leads joined a protest rally & none of them are activist. They >>
also have this notion that there's a scene about democratization movement in the drama so they connect it to the May & June history but on the drama's timeline, the protest rally scene is for fair election which happen in >>
November 1987, in fact, the protest rally scene was just shown in less than a minute, it isn't highlighted in the drama. Therefore, they were fed with the wrong information. But it is not my business to correct them, I just shared what I read, okay? >>
So K-POP stans, since you want me to shut-up, i will, but you also need to shut up because in the first place, your idols has nothing to do with this issue, OKAY?
